Vol. 14 Ch. 14: New Student Council

A week had passed since Monica told Felix her father's name.

Felix's attitude toward Monica had not changed. He was frighteningly normal, as always. That was precisely why Monica had tried to behave as normally as possible so he wouldn't notice what she was feeling... That was what she'd intended, anyway.

"Did His Highness say something to you?"

"Huh!?"

While organizing documents with Cyril in the archives, Monica accidentally dropped the stack in her hands. The documents were bound together with string and had cardboard covers, so they did not scatter, but the cardboard cover struck the top of her foot, causing a dull pain.

Monica gave the exasperated-looking Cyril an awkward smile as she picked up the documents she had dropped.

"N-nothing, was, said, to me. Everything's, normal, isn't it?"

"..."

Cyril gave Monica a piercing look, but then took the stack of documents from her and put it on a high shelf she could not reach.

"I heard from Maywood in General Affairs that you turned down the offer to serve as an officer on the new student council."...
