Vol. 15 Ch. 11: Willdiane's Wish

After returning to the girls' dormitory at Serendia Academy, Monica took only a very short nap before sitting at her desk from morning until night, her pen racing across the pages.

Monica was now working on completing the research materials her father had left behind.

The blueprint was eighty percent complete, but its finer details still needed to be worked out. Monica was filling in those missing parts by bringing every bit of knowledge at her disposal to bear.

Fortunately, the fundamental sections requiring knowledge of genetics and biology were already complete. Those fields were outside Monica's specialty, and honestly, if that part had been missing, it would have been beyond her ability to handle.

The unfinished twenty percent consisted mainly of magical formulas, Monica's area of expertise. Even so, despite her extraordinary talent for magic and mathematics, she still couldn't complete the blueprint.

Serendia Academy had been closed for three days as an emergency measure, but classes would resume as usual tomorrow.

At worst, she could skip class, but there was a student council meeting after school. The incoming and outgoing council members would discuss the council's policies going forward, so she couldn't skip that.

When she looked out the window, the sun had long since set. Only then did Monica remember that she had consumed nothing but water since morning.

When she stood up, she felt slightly dizzy. She would probably be up all night, so perhaps she should nibble on some nuts and have a coffee while she still could.

As she was thinking that, Nero, who had been out, tapped on the window. He was holding something in his mouth...
