It wasn't only Isaac who cried out inwardly. Surely the Duke of Clockford had, too.

While everyone present was voicing their admiration for 〈Silent Witch〉's feat, only Isaac and the duke, who knew the truth, were struck dumb with astonishment.

Isaac was nothing more than an ordinary citizen. Naturally, he had no royal blood, nor was he related to the king by blood.

As the atmosphere in the room suddenly grew lively, the Duke of Clockford spoke in a chilly voice.

"〈Silent Witch〉. That criminal has already declared, 'I confess to all my crimes.' No matter what color that dubious magical artifact turns, words once spoken cannot be taken back."

The room fell silent at the Duke of Clockford's words.

It was true—the Duke of Clockford was right. Isaac had already declared here that he confessed to all his crimes.

Even though the real Second Prince should have been proclaiming his innocence...
