Pars let out a hearty laugh at my words, then snapped his fingers.
“Ah, don’t worry. You deserve special treatment.”
With a *shhhk*... the living blood instantly seeped into the floor and vanished.
“Such crude rituals, stabbing and cutting, don’t suit you. If done right, you could even create a *Great System*.”
“I have no idea what you’re talking about.”
I kept him talking, drawing his attention.
Fortunately, he didn’t seem to notice.
