Even by an objective standard, the level I’d reached as an Awakened was clearly beyond that of a student.

Judging by the ranks of active Awakened, I was probably somewhere between A-rank and S-rank.

Of course, I was closer to A-rank than S-rank, which was regarded as being on another level entirely. But being able to rival high-ranking Awakened while still a student was no small feat.

My confidence that I’d eventually make polygamy a reality, no matter what, also rested largely on my talent and level as an Awakened……

In fact, in just a few more years, I’d probably be able to get right up to the threshold of S-rank.

But that wouldn’t be possible until I’d been given a little more time.

In other words, right now I was, at best, somewhat above average for an A-rank.

I wasn’t anywhere near good enough to take on an S-rank Awakened and seize the advantage, and I’d ended up proving that unintentionally today.
