Examining the New Material

said the Elven elder.

This was the elder's residence.

It stood at the base of a great tree, looking almost as though it had become one with the tree itself.

That was probably why the sound of rustling leaves filled the entire room.

After retrieving the 'Mystery Item' that looked exactly like a smartphone, Mabel and I were brought here.

After we arrived, the elder brought a small box from the back of the residence.

Inside the box was a small piece of metal.

Apparently, this was the 'metal that responds to the spirit' Mabel had mentioned.

It was white, with a smooth surface...
