Knowing, Yet Letting Yourself Be Deceived

After So-yu left, I began sorting the belongings for the move as she'd asked.

We didn't have any cardboard boxes or tape, but that was no problem.

If we didn't have them, I could simply make them.

If I could even make gold, surely I could make a cardboard box and some tape.

And so I began organizing the belongings with boxes and tape I'd made myself.

I repeatedly sorted things by type, put them in boxes, and wrote down what each box contained.

It might not look like there was much to do this way, but I had to repeat it several times.

I organized the belongings in the living room, then the kitchen, and finally everything in the closets.

Luckily, there weren't that many belongings. Otherwise, it would have taken all day.

After finishing the rooms other than So-yu's, I examined the scarf I'd set aside before going upstairs...
