Han Chae-rin and Her Younger Sister

I blinked, turning Chae-rin's words over in my mind again and again.

An angel had taken her younger sister?

The phrase could be taken literally, but it could also be interpreted another way.

It could be a roundabout way of saying her younger sister had died, or it could mean she'd been kidnapped or killed.

But it probably wasn't the first interpretation.

If her younger sister had died, there'd be no reason to blame the angel.

Unless the angel had killed her itself, of course.

"If you mean the angel took your younger sister.... Are you talking about kidnapping, or something like that?"

Chae-rin shook her head at my words.

"No, not that.... How should I explain this....? Should I say that her heart was stolen...?"...
