To the west of Golden Ring Immortal Paradise.

Atop a place where enormous black trees twisted together in spirals and soared skyward.

A horned being gazing east looked up at the tribulation clouds (劫雲) covering the heavens.

Before long, a massive Heavenly Tribulation struck the mountaintop, engulfing the surroundings in lightning. A long, curved smile appeared on its face.

“Has it finally awakened?”

Somewhere else in the south.

The aftershock of the exploding Heavenly Tribulation crossed the Silver Sand Desert and reached the quiet outskirts of Golden Ring Immortal Paradise, far away.

There, where hot lava bubbled and boiled, someone holding an iron staff watched with excitement as Heaven’s wrath shook the earth in a majestic display.

“At last, our youngest has awakened!”...
