On the first day of the Defense Wave, Androgin was consumed by rage when he heard that the demons had been routed.

"What? You ran without even putting up a fight?!"

He had never expected them to take the castle in a single day. According to the original history, this battle was supposed to continue for five more days before the kingdom finally fell.

But this was the first time they had been annihilated without even putting up a proper fight. In more than a hundred years—ninety-five cycles of repeating history—there had never been such a humiliating defeat.

"You bunch of cowards!"

As Androgin's eight cleavers danced, severed bodies leapt into the air one after another.
