Beatrice Alighieri Spero, the Sorceress Queen of the Kingdom of Spero, was a renowned and benevolent ruler.

The kingdom, prosperous since its founding, was wealthy and peaceful. It seemed this golden age would last forever.

Everyone thought so.

Until the demons began their invasion.

At first, they thought the black horde advancing from the distant west was merely a band of barbarians.

But rumors of their infamy and strength spread far and wide. They said the vile throngs of lust that had risen in some distant kingdom had destroyed several kingdoms in the blink of an eye.

As the black horde drew closer, the Queen realized from the waves of refugees and their eyewitness accounts that her foes were no ordinary beings.

Those insolent creatures would eventually extend their reach to the Kingdom of Spero as well.

Of course, the honorable knights loyal to the Queen and her faithful soldiers would meet the invasion as they ought.

They fought against the horde of evil that had finally reached them...
