Grace and Ena's connection wasn't that deep. They had been on the battlefield together many times, but that was about it. They didn't become close friends or have many private conversations. They simply treated each other as colleagues belonging to the same unit.
At that time, it was natural. The battlefield was a place where a comrade who was next to you just a moment ago could die in the blink of an eye.
