The Empire's knights are strong.

Inside the Empire, this was so obvious as to go without saying, but from the outside, it was extremely strange.

How could being a Sword Master be the basic requirement for becoming a knight?

In a weak kingdom, possessing enough power for even one such person to appear would earn them the title of hero or champion.

How could that be the minimum requirement for a knight in the Empire?

"Don't they have some hidden secret?"

"There has to be something—a secret art!"

"If we only knew what it was... could we do it too?"

"Training Sword Masters! I'm really curious!"

Every country except the Empire devoted tremendous effort to analyzing this...
