To be honest, the current Empire's image and that of the Great Empire seemed worlds apart.

If the current Empire looked like the textbook version of a fantasy setting,

'This is really on the level of applying futuristic technology.'

The Great Empire was itself a nation built by cramming in every aspect of a truly powerful empire's image.

'Without the status window, I couldn't have even dreamed of this.'

It was enough to make me wonder whether the Great Empire had truly ever existed.

The destructive force conveyed by the words 'a knight who carries a cannon' was beyond imagination.

I was sure the Great Empire had been described as the Empire's former state.

If so, I couldn't even gauge how much weaker the current Empire had become compared to the past.

What could have happened to make it this weak...
