Merger and Promise

The atmosphere in the Chairman’s Office rapidly sank at the mention of a merger from the Chairman’s lips.

But the Chairman seemed to have anticipated our reaction, remaining composed.

Seeing her father’s demeanor, Suyeon questioned him in an agitated voice, her anger flaring.

“Father… no, Dad! Was this what you promised me for?!”
