236. Anonymous Human
Question.
Is hunting at night dangerous?
237. Anonymous Human
>>236 It's not just dangerous.
238. Anonymous Forest Person
>>236 If you're a beginner, don't.
239. Anonymous Human
What, is it really that dangerous?
240. Anonymous Human
>>239 There are two reasons.
First, the monsters that appear during the day and at night are different. The ones at night are generally stronger. They're also often in groups.
Second, FSW is dark at night. Seriously dark. Even with a lantern, it only gets to the point where you think, 'Maybe it's a little brighter?'
If you're a beginner, you were probably hunting in the south, right? Then take a break for now and head to the eastern plains once it's light.
241. Anonymous Human
>>240 Thank you for the detailed explanation!
Huh? I've heard the western forest is dangerous, but why shouldn't we go to the northern mountain?
The residents said there are only goblins there.
242. Anonymous Forest Person
>>241 Sorry, but discussion of the north is off-limits.
243. Anonymous Mountain Person
>>241 Please don't. That's a trauma for me...
244. Anonymous Human
>>243 What's 'it'?
245. Anonymous Beast Person
>>244 Don't ask, rookie. Simply put, there's a goblin that's monstrously strong.
If you want to hear the details, go here.
Here: Northern Mountain Nightmare Thread http://***************
Bad luck for 242 and 243.
246. Anonymous Human
Speaking of that, I hear the top players are going mountain hunting tonight.
That should put an end to the nightmare.
247. Anonymous Forest Person
>>246 Seriously!?
248. Anonymous Mountain Person
>>246 Hell yeah.
249. Anonymous Human
>>>246 Could this be a flag?
250. Anonymous Human
>>246 Nice flag, lol.

【Sightseeing】Faasu City Walk Thread 6【Guide】
1. Anonymous Human
This is a thread for discussing Faasu, a city in the Kingdom of Lichtesburg, located almost in the center of the continent of Rukusureshia.
Please post lots of information about shops people don't know about and screenshots of beautiful scenery!
Please observe basic manners. The admins will delete your post.
Previous thread http://****************
43. Anonymous Human
The architecture seems to be a mishmash of Western styles.
The temples in particular look like Christian churches inside, but the outside looks like the Parthenon. It made me laugh.
44. Anonymous Beast Person
>>43 Don't sweat the small stuff!
More importantly, the fact that the city walls are a little dirty and all makes it feel pretty realistic.
As expected, WSS-style games have a different level of realism.
46. Anonymous Human
Think we've pretty much covered all the shops on the main streets?
47. Anonymous Forest Person
>>46 I think so. More importantly, I put together an overview of the city.
In the center of the city is the 'Temple of the Twelve Great Gods' where we first logged in.
Next to it is the 'Aaruru Great Temple,' and most of Faasu's residents are Aaruru believers.
The city is circular and surrounded by high walls, with main streets extending to the east, west, north, and south.
The southern main street is mainly stalls and food stands. It has lots of items for beginners.
The eastern main street has lots of restaurants. That's because the Adventurer's Guild is around the middle of the street. Kind of a post-work drink situation?
The northern and western main streets are artisan districts, though the artisans specialize in different things.
The north has blacksmiths, stonemasons, and potters who use resources gathered from the mountain.
The west produces medicines and leather goods using herbs from the forest and monster materials from around Faasu, as well as accessories.
That's about it.
48. Anonymous Human
>>47 Nice work!
Let's use this as the template and talk about the other places!
49. Anonymous Human
>>47 Good work!
Also, a screenshot of Faasu's sunset. Here: [image]
50. Anonymous Beast Person
>>49 Huh!? What's this!?
51. Anonymous Human
>>49 Did you take this from the top of the city wall?
52. Anonymous Human
>>51 Correct.
I asked the guards if I could climb up, and they said it was fine as long as I didn't mind having a guard accompany me.
53. Anonymous Forest Person
Whoa, I completely overlooked that.
54. Anonymous Human
More importantly, I found a great restaurant!
Here: [image][image]
55. Anonymous Mountain Person
Oh? A fish dish?
56. Anonymous Human
>>54 Yep!
The fish from the eastern river flowing down from the northern mountain are seriously delicious!
Though they don't satisfy your real-life hunger!
57. Anonymous Human
Oh, I know that place.
But when I went, it was sold out, so I couldn't eat there.
58. Anonymous Human
>>57 Actually, the same thing happened to me.
It's a bit of a walk into the back alleys, but apparently it's popular with the residents.
Then they told me I could bring my own fish, so I caught one myself and brought it there. That's how I got to eat there.
59. Anonymous Beast Person
>>58 You went fishing just for that? (astonished)
That place is on the other side of the boss area, you know...?
60. Anonymous Forest Person
Everyone's really enjoying themselves, lol.
Anyway, new information! I just went exploring and ventured into the back alleys, where I found a suspicious stall. Everything it was selling was suspicious merchandise, too, lol.
Here: [image][image]
61. Anonymous Human
>>60 Aphrodisiacs, lol? Where would you even use those? lol
62. Anonymous Human
>>60 'Water Dragon King's Scale'?
Way too expensive! What's with three million Zel, lol?
It's definitely fake, lol.
63. Anonymous Mountain Person
>>60 As a dwarf, I'm more interested in the 'Mithril Ingot,' though.
64. Anonymous Beast Person
>>60 Seriously? When I went into the back alleys, some bald, intimidating old guy suddenly appeared behind me and kicked me out.
65. Anonymous Human
>>64 Was it a tough-looking, bald old guy with a huge scar running from his chin to his lip?
66. Anonymous Beast Person
>>65 You know him!?
67. Anonymous Human
>>66 I only heard this from the residents, but apparently he's an executive in the Thieves' Guild.
I was advised to avoid attracting their attention if I walk around Faasu at night.
68. Anonymous Beast Person
>>67 Uh...
69. Anonymous Forest Person
Getting kicked out doesn't mean they took notice of you.
If anything, think of it as having made a tenuous connection.
Still, even though it's a starter town, it has some pretty rough areas.

【The Boss Has】General Strategy Thread 8【Fallen】
1. Akatsuki
This is a thread for discussing strategy.
Keep it limited to information related to strategy, okay?
Previous thread http://***************
>>980 Please make the next thread!
10. Nutmeg
I'll compile information on the field bosses adjacent to Faasu.
Southern Plains
Race: Gray Wolf Lv10
Job: Pack Leader Lv0
The wolf leader and its followers. The number of followers changes based on the number of players: two for a solo player and six for a full party.
The individual monsters aren't that strong, but they show their true strength when they form a pack. Take down the leader immediately. It might actually be easier solo.
Eastern Plains
Race: Steppe Eagle Lv10
Job: None
A great eagle that flies freely through the sky. It has little health and can't use magic, but it's so fast that attacks have trouble hitting it.
It's also troublesome because it's good at hit-and-run tactics that take advantage of its speed. This boss tests your patience and attack accuracy.
Western Forest
Race: Black Bear Lv13
Job: None
A bear even larger than the brown bears in the western forest. Its attack patterns are almost the same, but its power is on a completely different level. Even heavily armored players are almost certain to die if caught in its bear hug. Never let your guard down!
Northern Mountain
Race: Hobgoblin Lv10
Job: Apprentice Warrior Lv0
An evolved species of the goblins that swarm the northern mountain. It has excellent leadership skills and gives precise orders to the lower-ranking goblins. The number of followers changes based on the number of players: two for a solo player and six for a full party. Here, too, it's best to take down the Hobgoblin immediately.
11. Torch
>>10 Nice work!
12. Guren
>>10 Thanks!
13. Jack
>>10 The true boss of the northern mountain is, as always, the nightmare.
14. Kota
Looking at it this way, we've got one speed-type and one pack, plus one power-type and one pack.
The Japanese sounds kind of weird, though.
15. Akatsuki
>>14 We understand what you're trying to say, so no problem.
16. Goki
Ah, emergency report.
I went to gather materials from the southern boss just now, and a quest called 'Trial of the Blue Moon' started.
17. Akatsuki
>>16 WTF!?
18. Guren
>>16 Details, please.
19. Jack
>>16 What's that?
20. Goki
Calm down. I'll explain everything.
Tonight, we challenged the southern boss with our usual party.
We'd done it so many times that we thought it would be a cakewalk.
In fact, we'd already fought the nighttime boss several times.
21. Nutmeg
Ah, those wolf materials.
They have so many uses that it's easy to overhunt them.
22. Goki
>>21 Exactly.
Then, the moment everyone entered the boss area, the quest began automatically.
A beam of light shone down from the moon, and a rabbit came running through it.
We all went 'aww.'
23. Torch
>>22 Lol.
24 Nutmeg
>>22 It suddenly got very fancy.
25. Goki
The moment the rabbit landed on the ground, it pulled out a huge mallet.
Basically, you know, the thing used to pound mochi.
26. Akatsuki
Cute.
27. Jack
Looks weak (flag)
28. Jiromaru
I have nothing but a bad feeling about this.
29. Fumifumi
Why has the narration suddenly taken on a horror tone?
30. Daken
>>29 I hate strategy group players with good instincts like you.
31. Goki
The rabbit dragged the mallet along as it approached at a speed far too slow for a rabbit.
But it was an opponent in a trial, after all. There was no way it could be weak.
Thinking that, we took our usual formation.
One tank, two melee attackers, one archer, one mage, and one priest.
It's our standard party composition.
32. Goki
And finally, the moment came.
The instant one of my companions caught the rabbit's descending mallet on their shield...
33. Guren
Heart pounding.
34. Kota
Can't wait.
35. Goki
They died.
36. Akatsuki
>>35 Huh?
37. Torch
>>35 Ha?
38. Kota
>>35 Hi?
39. Jiromaru
>>35 Fu?
40. Goki
After that, everything went completely crazy.
We somehow regrouped and got its HP down to half, but then it threw away the mallet and started swinging a huge blade... probably a cleaver, I think.
It suddenly returned to its original rabbit-like speed, and we couldn't keep up. We were wiped out.
That's the whole sequence of events.
41. Jack
Seriously? The party in >>40 was equipped with top-tier frontline gear, right?
And they couldn't withstand that...?
42. Goki
For reference, I'll post the results of my teammate's appraisal.
There were still a lot of unknowns, but this is what we managed to confirm in the middle of that storm of blades.
Name: Pyonkichi (Shadow)
Race: Shadow of the Moon Rabbit Lv25
Job: Moon Warrior Lv7
I'm tired, so I'm logging off.
I'm sure you have a lot of questions, but please wait until tomorrow or later.
43. Akatsuki
>>42 I have a mountain of things to say, but good work.
44. Jack
>>42 Good work.
I've never seen a named monster before.
And what the hell is with level 25?
45. Nutmeg
The name is cute.
46. Fumifumi
We have no chance of winning, and this thread is probably going to get ugly again.

【Midnight】Trial of the Blue Moon Thread 1【Intense Battle!】
1. Ricardo
This is a thread for discussing the Trial of the Blue Moon.
If you have new information, keep posting it.
>>980 Please make the next thread.
94. Seth
Does the administration actually intend to let us clear this?
95. Maruo
I'd like to try it, but if even the people leading the pack can't win, it's going to be tough.
96. Gantetsu
>>91 If materials drop from the trial, bring them to me!
97. Barikan
>>96 Yo, top blacksmith-san! As expected, a crafter is interested in the materials, huh?~
98. Gantetsu
>>97 Of course.
99. Rina
>>97 Of course.
100. Aina
Reporting in.
Our party somehow managed to clear the trial!
101. Barikan
>>99 There's a top tailor here too...
102. Maruo
>>100 LMAO
103. Ricardo
>>100 Seriously!?
104. Gantetsu
>>100 Is that the young lady from the Hero's party? Any ore drops?
105. Rina
>>100 Any hides or cloth?
106. Aina
We just beat it ourselves, so I don't know what's been posted in the thread, but for now I'll put up the information on the opponent we appraised.
Name: Rururia Lunariaras
Race: Luna Evil Pixie Lv25
Job: Spacetime Mage Lv7
As its Race suggests, it's a tiny fairy. But it will come to kill you without mercy, so be careful.
Its basic strategy is to fly around, confuse you with its swift movements, and bombard you with magic. It flits about like a butterfly while firing off spell after spell.
It seems to have little HP, but it uses powerful wide-area magic at fifty percent and thirty percent HP. The damage is extremely high, so backline players should watch their HP carefully.
As for the clear reward, it is ###############.
107. Yamainu
>>106 Huh? Did the end bug out?
108. Ricardo
>>107 No, that's what appears when the administration censors something.
109. Gantetsu
>>107 Definitely the admins. Means you'll have to check the reward yourself.
110. Aina
It seems the reward details can't be posted.
Sorry to everyone who was looking forward to them.
In our case, there was only equipment and no materials.
111. Rina
There weren't any materials? What a shame!
112. Gantetsu
>>110 How are the stats?
113. Aina
>>112 I don't think I can post the details, so I'll leave them out, but they're quite good.
114. Barikan
So saying 'equipment' is enough to dodge the question, huh?
But that means the favorite to win Sunday's tournament got equipment dropped by a boss.
115. Maruo
>>114 Ah, true.
116. Ricardo
>>114 More importantly, I'm personally happier that tomorrow's extermination of the 'Nightmare of the Northern Mountain' is now certain.
115. Yamainu
>>116 Exactly.

【Come On Over】Nonhuman Thread 3【The Forest of FSW】
1. Anonymous Bird
This is a thread for nonhuman-type players.
It's a laid-back board where anything goes: general chat, questions, whatever.
Previous thread http://****************
>>990 Please make the next thread.
2. Anonymous Lizard
Nice thread.
3. Anonymous Fish
Nice. But this thread sure isn't growing, huh? There aren't many people.
4. Anonymous Bird
>>3 Isn't that obvious by now?
There are very few nonhuman players to begin with, and lots of them don't use the bulletin board.
Basically, it's almost always the same members, isn't it?
5. Anonymous Dog
>>4 Exactly.
But why are nonhuman players so unpopular?
6. Anonymous Lizard
>>5 Isn't the biggest reason that their markers are the same as normal animals?
I got chased around by people shouting, 'It's a rare enemy! Let's kill it!'
But I managed to get away.
7. Anonymous Dog
Oh, I see.
I didn't realize because people pet me whenever they spot me. (bragging)
8. Anonymous Fish
Speaking of markers, apparently nonhuman players with a monster-type Race get the same black marker as monsters.
When you think about it that way, maybe that famous 'Nightmare of the Northern Mountain' is actually a player?
9. Anonymous Bird
>>8 Nightmare of the Northern Mountain? That sounds cool, lol.
10. Anonymous Lizard
>>9 It's not something to laugh about.
My real-life friend was attacked, had their throat slit, and died.
It's left me mildly traumatized.
11. Anonymous Fish
This is off-topic, but I'll write it down.
During the beta, the standard practice was to level up in the easiest area, the southern plains, and then head to the northern mountain or eastern plains.
Once the full service launched, the beta testers had bonus weapons and armor, so they went straight north or east. Gear could make up for the level difference, so they prioritized efficiency.
Then they found a strange goblin in the northern mountain.
Everyone else was carrying wooden clubs and such, but that one was barehanded.
We laughed and called it an idiot, but when we fought it, one of the top parties from the beta was wiped out in no time.
Probably the earliest party wipe since the game began.
After that, cases of players being 'beaten to death by a barehanded goblin' started happening frequently in the northern mountain.
Even the strategy group fell victim.
The story goes that players began calling the goblin that turned an easy field into an extremely dangerous area the 'Nightmare of the Northern Mountain,' out of fear and awe.
12. Anonymous Bird
Eek...
13. Anonymous Fish
Back to the topic.
I'm proposing the 'Nightmare of the Northern Mountain is a player' theory because the more I hear about it, the more it seems to move in ways that should be impossible for anything but a human.
Faking an attempt to pull off someone's shield, then kicking their kneecap to pieces—what kind of AI does that?
14. Anonymous Lizard
>>13 Even if it were human, that would still be a problem.
What kind of bastard mercilessly kicks someone's kneecap to pieces?
15. Anonymous Dog
Well, either way, it's finished.
Apparently the top players are forming a Legion to hunt the mountain.
16. Anonymous Bird
>>15 A Legion is something several parties form together, right?
Is that goblin a raid boss or something?
17. Anonymous Fish
>>16 At the very least, the mountain is its territory, so maybe that many people were necessary?
A manpower-heavy search would be essential just to find it, too.
But if it really is a player and has noticed this thread, I want it to come. I want to see something scary.
18. Anonymous Lizard
>>17 I get that. But I don't want to get involved.
