The Blacksmithing and Accessories categories are going to be fiercely contested.
One of the people currently in Flarma will probably win.
219. Anonymous Elf
I want to go to the auction, but going all the way back to Fars is such a pain (´・ω・)
220. Anonymous Human
I'm a crafter from the second wave, but even placing seems unlikely.
I guess I'll enter for the participation prize!
221. Anonymous Human
>>219 There is intercity warp, you know?
222. Anonymous Beastman
A lot of crafters must be making prototypes before submitting their entries, because the purchase prices for materials have gone up across the board.
I was short on money lately, but this took care of that.
223. Anonymous Dwarf
>>221 Intercity warp costs money, you know. The farther away the destination, the higher the price.
You understand the rest, right?
224. Anonymous Dwarf
Personally, I think this is a perfect chance for skilled crafters who are unknown on the forums and elsewhere to finally get some recognition.
Specifically, I'm talking about a friend of mine lol
225. Anonymous Human
Since it's called a contest, there must be judging criteria, right?
226. Anonymous Human
My main profession is something else, but I'm entering something I made for fun.
227. Anonymous Elf
>>222 Exactly. Combat classes are raking it in!
The crafters might be spending all their money, though.
228. Anonymous Elf
Apparently there are several judging criteria. To put them in bullet points:
・The quality and rarity of the work
・The rarity of the materials
・The number of additional abilities
・Design
・Practicality
Something like that, I guess?
229. Anonymous Human
It costs money, but apparently the strategy group is returning en masse because all the prize-winning works can only be bought at the auction.
They say nobles and royalty will be participating too, so even the wealthy may not be able to afford the grand-prize piece.
230. Anonymous Beastman
>>228 Thanks for summarizing!
231. Anonymous Dwarf
>>228 So both practicality and design are taken into account.
That's an absurdly difficult challenge for weapons.
232. Anonymous Human
>>231 What do you mean, absurdly difficult?
233. Anonymous Elf
>>229 It would be a huge waste of effort to go all the way back to Fars and still not be able to buy what you want lol
234. Anonymous Human
The auction sounds good, but the street stalls should be lively too.
It would be nice if we could buy prototypes of the submitted works.
235. Anonymous Dwarf
>>232 If you overdo the ornamentation on a weapon, it can become unnecessarily heavy or lose durability. No matter how cool a weapon looks, one that's too heavy for its attack power or breaks immediately is useless in actual combat, right?
But abilities can also let ornamentation add special effects. Something that's both practical and well-designed has to meet the standards of a weapon while also possessing beauty. I meant that finding that balance is difficult.
236. Anonymous Human
>>235 Thanks for the explanation!
Personally, I like rugged weapons with no unnecessary ornamentation at all, but does that mean they'd have a hard time placing? I feel like they might be more affordable, though lol
237. Anonymous Human
I've got some additional information! Apparently, all submitted works that don't win a prize will be sold in a special area of the Crafters Guild.
It's basically first come, first served, so if you have no money to buy a prize-winning work but want something with the next-best performance, be sure to go!
238. Anonymous Beastman
Am I in the minority for going to Fars simply because I want to join in the festivities?
239. Anonymous Human
I don't plan to go to Fars since I can't afford anything anyway, but I'll definitely check the data on the winning work.
It should make it clear who the top-tier creators are right now, as well as the materials and performance involved.
240. Anonymous Dwarf
It would be fun if they had some kind of test-cutting demonstration lol

This is the Random Dungeon Information Thread.
We would appreciate it if you would share information about things you encountered inside Random Dungeons.

607. Random Human
There have been quite a lot of sighting reports around Fars.
Maybe beginners are more likely to run into them?
608. Kanna
I found a Random Dungeon somewhere, so I'll share the information.
The place we found was called the 'Dread Beast Wasteland,' and lots of dinosaur-like monsters appeared there. I'm free for a while, so I'll answer whatever questions I can.
609. Random Human
>>608 Kanna-san!?
610. Random Elf
>>608 Is this for real?
611. Rouge
>>608 It's Kanna-san! Long time no see (*´・∀・)ノ
612. Random Dwarf
>>608 Isn't that the legendary one-woman army...?
613. Random Human
Is something going on here?
614. Random Human
>>610 Indeed, in FSW, if you turn off the anonymous setting on the forum, your player name appears as is. Also, names with the same characters aren't allowed even if they're pronounced the same, so I'm certain this is really her.
615. Random Human
>>608 A famous player has appeared━━━━ヽ(゜∀゜ )ノ━━━━!!!!
616. Random Beastman
>>611 Wait, there's even a strategy-group member casually hanging out here lol
617. Kanna
>>611 Long time no see, Rouge-san.
Is there anything you'd like to ask?
618. Random Elf
>>611 I haven't seen you on the forum since you left to travel somewhere with your husband, so I was surprised to see you suddenly appear in this thread.
619. Rouge
Then I have a question! What kind of dungeon was it, and what kind of monsters appeared there?

621. Kanna
>>620 True to its name, it was a wasteland stretching as far as the eye could see. I suppose that's what they call a field-type dungeon? Probably.
All the monsters that appeared belonged to the 'Dread Beast' category, just like the dungeon's name. They looked exactly like the dinosaurs in the bestiary.
622. Random Dwarf
It's been a while since I've seen one get deleted.
623. Random Elf
Dinosaurs!?
624. Rouge
>>621 Thank you! So you can fight dinosaurs in this game too!
625. Random Human
Dinosaurs have appeared━━━━ヽ(゜∀゜ )ノ━━━━!!!!
626. Random Elf
I want to tame one of those dinosaurs...
627. Random Dwarf
The fact that it's specifically written as 'Dread Beast' is interesting.
628. Random Elf
Giant reptiles are so gross (|||´Д`)
629. Random Human
>>628 You call dinosaurs gross!? Dinosaurs are the stuff of dreams!
630. Kanna
>>627 Are you asking about that? I think it was mentioned on another forum too, but no monster Race without 【Dragon Factor】 has the word 'Dragon' in its name.
None of the Dread Beasts other than the boss had 【Dragon Factor】. That's why.
631. Random Elf
>>629 The stuff of dreams? lol
Gross is gross.
632. Random Beastman
If they're dinosaur-like, they must be pretty big.
They look tough, too. Monster size and durability seem to be proportional.
633. Random Beastman
I wonder if they taste good?
Even though we have 【Cooking】, no tasty items have been confirmed so far...
634. Random Human
>>631 Are you looking for a fight?
635. Random Human
Don't have a flame war here. Take it somewhere else.
636. Random Elf
【Dragon Factor】, huh? Was that information mentioned somewhere too?
Most of the witnesses are from the strategy group, so it feels completely irrelevant to me.
637. Kanna
>>632 They were big! They had a lot of Health, too, so aiming for their weak points is important.
>>633 Unfortunately, none of us got any food ingredient items, so we don't know what they taste like.
638. Kanna
For now, I'll post screenshots of the drop items along with the results of using 【Appraisal】 on them.
Here: [image], [image], [image], [image]

640. Random Elf
So the scales and skin have distinctive features.
There must be quite a few types of Dread Beast.
641. Random Beastman
At present, monster-material weapons seem inferior to metal ones in terms of performance.
642. Random Human
Come to think of it, you joined a clan, right? Did you clear it with those members?
643. Random Dwarf
If you took them to an alchemist, you might be able to turn your companions into Dread Beasts.
644. Random Human
May I ask how many people cleared it?
645. Random Beastman
Good for weapons, good for armor... Dread Beasts seem like pretty profitable monsters.
646. Random Dwarf
If there were an Ankylosaurus or something, you could make a weapon that would suit a Dwarf.
647. Random Human
I want that claw. The problem is that the dungeon information alone doesn't tell us where to find them.
648. Kanna
>>642 That's right. But I'm not going to tell you anything about my companions.
>>644 There were six of us. However, everyone was above the appropriate level, so I don't think it would be useful as a reference.
Also, I'm going to log off soon. I hope this information proves useful.
649. Random Elf
Thanks for the information!
The appropriate level really is important. If it's too low, it's ridiculously easy, but if it's too high, clearing the dungeon is impossible.
650. Rouge
Thank you!
Let's talk if we meet again sometime!
651. Random Human
Ah, Kanna's gone. I still had more questions...
652. Random Dwarf
Good work!
653. Random Elf
Thank you!
654. Random Human
Thanks for the information!
656. Random Beastman
>>651 Kanna-san is married, after all. Unlike you guys, who are bored until bedtime.
657. Random Dwarf
>>656 You're one of them too, aren't you?
658. Random Human
>>656 Not you guys—us guys, right?
659. Random Human
>>656 Stop it! You're making me sad! Stop, please!
