The event's almost over...
It was long, but it feels like it went by fast.
342. Anonymous Mountain Woman
It was fun, whether you wanted to hike in the mountains or play in the sea.
Though it was hilarious seeing crafters hole up in the dungeon even more than the strategy group did lol.
343. Anonymous Sea Man
There were monster players on both the mountain and sea sides once you went in deep enough, weren't there?
They were all perfectly nice, so it was fun.
344. Anonymous Sea Man
The player-run events were fun too.
Beach flag races, beach volleyball, and so on.
345. Anonymous Mountain Man
So what were those fossils excavated from the mountain, anyway?
It'd be awesome if we could create clones like in science fiction.
346. Anonymous Mountain Man
That oni guy who was rampaging around on the first day was free-soloing a sheer cliff with no safety line on the last day. I cracked up lol.
He was absurdly fast too lol.
347. Anonymous Mountain Woman
The sunset from the mountaintop was beautiful.
Maybe I should save up and buy an uninhabited island like this one.
348. Anonymous Sea Man
>>343 I didn't just become friends with them—I got them to join my clan.
349. Anonymous Mountain Woman
There were tons of ingredient items, so it was fun.
Growing rare fruits and mushrooms is definitely worth trying!
350. Anonymous Mountain Man
It was a little disappointing that the dungeon was the only place with good rewards in terms of EXP.
But it was nice being able to interact with people whose usual bases were different from mine.
351. Anonymous Sea Woman
Come to think of it, there were hardly any Undead players, were there?
I wonder if there just aren't many of them.
352. Anonymous Mountain Woman
>>342 I'm a crafter, and I was bewildered by that mushroom player who kept throwing items nonstop lol.
353. Anonymous Mountain Man
Do you know that clan made up almost entirely of pig-headed ogres?
They wear punk fashion and talk like they're from the apocalypse, but their manners are really good.
354. Anonymous Sea Man
>>344 There was a fishing tournament, grass-skiing tournament, all-out hide-and-seek, a no-brake bicycle downhill race... There were lots of others too!
I didn't even place in any of them, though!
355. Anonymous Mountain Woman
I wonder what that dragon with the butler-san from Kontra Trading Company was...
That bunch is tight-lipped, so they absolutely refuse to tell us.
356. Anonymous Sea Man
>>351 Undead types die when they get exposed to sunlight, you know.
357. Anonymous Sea Man
>>354 What's this about all-out hide-and-seek and a no-brake bicycle downhill race? lol
358. Anonymous Mountain Woman
I'll never forgive the insect monster that came over when we were having a campfire.
Never.
359. Anonymous Sea Woman
It's interesting how your equipment differs depending on your home base.
It was nice getting to see equipment made from materials I'd never handled before!
360. Anonymous Sea Woman
Scuba diving was impossible, but looking around underwater while free-diving was great.
Maybe I'll go explore the coast next time.
361. Anonymous Mountain Woman
>>351 There was a place packed with Undead players!
At the bottom of a huge vertical shaft!
362. Anonymous Sea Man
>>354 Someone joined the fishing tournament with a harpoon, remember? lol
It caused quite a controversy lol.
363. Anonymous Mountain Man
>>357 All-out hide-and-seek was exactly what it sounds like: a game of hide-and-seek using the entire uninhabited island.
Anyone could be a hider, but only players with scout-type Jobs could be it.
In the end, only scout-type players remained, and they kept fleeing and chasing one another through the mountains.
The winner was someone who looked like a ninja. Apparently, they hid underwater using a bamboo tube as a snorkel.
The no-brake bicycle downhill race was a competition based on the time it took to race straight down from the mountaintop on a mountain bike brought by a certain famous artisan player.
The mountain bikes had their brakes removed, making it difficult to stop and regain control once you started.
There were lots of deaths, many of them in ways that were guaranteed to make everyone laugh.
On top of that, anyone who broke a mountain bike was billed for the repairs.
The winner was the cat-eared one from Hero-kun's group.
If you want to know more, go to the dedicated board.
I'm keeping the details vague since naming individuals would probably be a problem.
It may be pointless since those who know will know...
364. Anonymous Sea Man
I'm someone who started playing because of this event, but as expected, people who've been playing from the start are sharper in their movements, not just better equipped.
365. Anonymous Mountain Man
I was surprised to find that there were crafters among the monster players too.
366. Anonymous Sea Man
>>356 Huh? I saw an Undead player out and about in broad daylight, though...?
367. Anonymous Sea Man
Anyone make it all the way out to open water?
I thought a shark had bitten me, but then another monster ate both the shark and me lol.
It reminded me of an old disaster movie.
368. Anonymous Sea Man
>>363 Thanks for the detailed explanation!
369. Anonymous Mountain Man
>>361 So you went down there...
370. Anonymous Mountain Woman
I had no idea the tournaments had dedicated boards.
