351. Elvis
I had to work on my day off, so could someone tell me how the arena tournament turned out?
352. Kimakatte
>>351 In short:
Individual matches: "The Hero is too OP!"
Pair matches: "Is this a Musou game?"
Team matches: "The Hero's party is too OP!?"
Something like that?
353. Danmaru
>>351 It was pretty much all the Hero, man.
It was fun to watch, but I wouldn't want to be one of the other participants.
354. Akatsuki
The Hero has high PS and Azure Moon equipment too, so he was on another level.
There was nothing anyone could do about that.
355. Guren
>>354 He held out amazingly long in the finals.
It was seriously incredible to watch! Good work!
356. Akatsuki
>>355 Thanks!
Well, I definitely lost, that's for sure.
Anyway, I'm going to go close the equipment gap now.

359. Gouki
Off-topic, but good luck!
360. Wakasagi
Let's get back to the topic.
Leaving the Hero and his harem members aside, that one person and one horse from the pair matches were pretty terrifying, weren't they?
They were like one entity, man and horse together.
361. Daken
You understand once you actually fight them, but they're insanely scary.
They had so much murderous intent I nearly cried, lol.
362. Mabataki
>>361 I know what you mean.
That female player comes charging at you, laughing like she's having the time of her life.
There's no way I could face her!
363. Rouge
I asked her after I lost, and apparently that horse is her husband.
Oh, and I got permission to spread the word.
364. Kimakatte
>>363 What the—!?
365. Danmaru
>>363 I'm dying.

【Come One, Come All】Basic Knowledge Thread for the Second Wave 2【Second Wave!】
1. Anonymous Human
This is a basic knowledge thread for the Second Wave.
Please focus your posts on advice for beginners.
Follow basic etiquette. The moderators will delete it.
Previous thread http://****************
>>980 Please make the next thread.
56. Anonymous Human
>>49 Player-made doesn't automatically mean high quality.
57. Anonymous Mountainfolk
For now, even the top production classes are only barely able to compete with NPCs, so there isn't much difference between player shops and resident shops.
Still, given their potential, I think it's better to become a familiar face sooner rather than later.
58. Anonymous Monster
We're supposedly few and far between, but can I talk about various things related to monster-type players?
59. Anonymous Beastfolk
>>53 Thanks for the summary!
60. Anonymous Human
>>58!?!?!
61. Anonymous Human
>>58 A monster!?!?!
62. Anonymous Forestfolk
>>58 ( ゜д゜) Stunned
63. Anonymous Human
>>58 Much obliged~ ( ̄人 ̄) Much obliged~
64. Anonymous Forestfolk
>>58 Please, tell us all about it!
65. Anonymous Monster
>>64 Thanks. I'll start with the good points.
The greatest appeal of monster-type players is evolution, without a doubt. As far as I can tell, you can evolve every ten levels.
I say "as far as I can tell" because I haven't reached level 20 yet.
66. Anonymous Human
Only the strategy group is level 20.
But evolution, huh.
Humans and Forestfolk only get to evolve once, at level 50, right?
67. Anonymous Mountainfolk
Same for Mountainfolk and Beastfolk.
It just adds "High" to your Race.
You apparently just become a High Human or High Dwarf.
68. Anonymous Monster
>>67 Is that so? I didn't know anything about humanity's circumstances.
Anyway, evolution seems to raise your overall stats.
It can also unlock special evolution paths based on your Skills and Job.
In that case, your appearance may change, such as a change in body color.
69. Anonymous Human
>>68 This is against the rules, but since you know that, have you undergone a special evolution?
70. Anonymous Monster
>>69 I won't say what Race I evolved from or what I became, but yes, I underwent a special evolution.
From this, it seems monster-type players can express a great deal of individuality through their playstyles.
If you want to aim for 'Unique rather than Number One,' I recommend it.
Next, racial traits grant powerful abilities by default. For example, Undead-type 【Status Ailment Immunity】 and Slime-type 【Physical Attack Resistance】 seem extremely strong.
71. Anonymous Forestfolk
Immunity is amazing.
72. Anonymous Human
Huh? Is it not as rough as people said it was in the beta?
73. Anonymous Monster
Now I'll move on to the bad points.
First, you can't enter towns.
Or rather, the goddess who handled my character creation warned me that I would be killed if I tried to enter one.
74. Anonymous Human
Ehh...
75. Anonymous Human
Things are starting to look bad.
76. Anonymous Monster
Next, you can't communicate properly.
Even if you can understand human speech, they can't understand what you're saying. The same goes for communication between monsters.
You absolutely need 【Linguistics】 to solve that problem.
On top of that, you need to reach a certain level for communication between different Races.
To raise its level, you have to listen to the voices of other Races or decipher difficult books.
I won't stop you if you want to play the lone wolf, though.
77. Anonymous Beastfolk
You can't even talk to people? That's worse than the beta...
Also, you actually took a minor Skill like 【Linguistics】? lol
And the method for leveling 【Linguistics】 is actually rare information, isn't it?
78. Anonymous Mountainfolk
Wait, then what do you do about equipment?
Can't you have any made for you?
79. Anonymous Monster
>>77 Is it rare? I didn't know that.
>>78 I was just about to write about that.
You get nothing but your initial equipment, no matter what.
Basically, if you want anything new, you have to hope for monster drops or PK someone and take their equipment.
The only monsters around Fars that carry weapons are goblin-types, and their weapons are so shabby that PKing is easier and more profitable.
If you don't like that, make your own. It's not very practical, though.
80. Anonymous Human
Faaaa, lololololol
81. Anonymous Forestfolk
Brutal!
82. Anonymous Human
Could you get lucky by filling your initial Skill choices with production Skills?
83. Anonymous Monster
>>82 As I said, it's not practical.
Even monster-type players have ten fixed slots for their initial Skills, but racial-trait abilities consume those slots.
And while I emphasized the advantages of racial-trait abilities earlier, some of them are actually weakness abilities called 【[Something] Vulnerability】. Those consume slots too.
If you take too many production Skills, you'll have to fight without any bonuses from combat Skills.
It isn't impossible for certain Races, but I can't recommend it.
84. Anonymous Monster
On top of that, your initial spawn point is generally outside a town.
Since you're treated as a monster, you naturally can't enter the field's safe areas.
You'll have no choice but to camp outdoors.
85. Anonymous Monster
So, I've listed a lot of drawbacks, but the fact that multiple evolutions are probably possible, along with the changes in appearance that come with them, offers a kind of appeal you can't find elsewhere.
I sincerely hope that those of you in the Second Wave who read this choose monsters.
If you run into trouble, post in the 'Monster-type Player Character Thread,' and I'll be happy to lend a hand.
Sorry for the long post.
86. Anonymous Human
>>85 Thanks for the information!
87. Anonymous Human
>>85 Good work! Still, playing a monster sounds even tougher than I imagined. I agonized over it, but I'm glad I chose human.
88. Anonymous Forestfolk
Exactly. Starting out on Very Hard is way too harsh.
89. Anonymous Forestfolk
I feel bad saying this about our monster bro who gave us all that information, though...
90. Anonymous Human
Everyone's casually glossing over this, but our monster bro has experience with PKing, huh.
91. Anonymous Beastfolk
He's a monster, so he probably doesn't have any PK penalties.
92. Anonymous Mountainfolk
A PK clan consisting exclusively of monsters might appear someday.

657. Anonymous Human
There doesn't seem to be any clear favorite among the predictions so far.
658. Anonymous Forestfolk
Hurry up with a pet recruitment event.
659. Anonymous Human
Personally, I think it'll be some kind of exploration event.
660. Anonymous Human
>>658 Get 【Taming】, then.
661. Anonymous Beastfolk
>>659 They held combat and production events at the same time last time.
I think it's perfectly possible.
662. Anonymous Forestfolk
Some people are for and some are against having no advance information, but personally, I welcome it because it's exciting.
663. Anonymous Forestfolk
>>662 There are probably plenty of people who dislike all the speculation flying around, though.
664. Anonymous Mountainfolk
The production people and merchants were complaining that they couldn't see any business opportunities.
665. Anonymous Human
Maybe it'll be a fun-only event, like a boisterous cherry-blossom-viewing party, lol.
666. Anonymous Human
It'll be a fishing tournament, right? Please let it be that!
667. Anonymous Human
>>666 Are you that angler?
668. Anonymous Mountainfolk
【Breaking News】A new feature will be announced at the event!
669. Anonymous Human
Seriously!?
670. Anonymous Forestfolk
A new feature!?
671. Anonymous Beastfolk
Source?
672. Anonymous Mountainfolk
>>671 The official website was just updated.
673. Anonymous Human
They keep giving us information in tiny drips! I'm looking forward to it, damn it!

【Hidden】Thread for Discussing the Mysterious Silver Mask 4【Event?】
1. Aina
This is a thread for discussing the mysterious silver mask that seems to be connected to the 'Nightmare of the Northern Mountain.' We're waiting for anyone with information!!
Follow basic etiquette. The moderators will delete it.
Previous thread http://****************
>>980 Please make the next thread.
104. Aina
There haven't even been any reports of sightings of Nightmare since then. The theory that it's an event monster is looking more and more likely.
105. Nutmeg
We got nothing even after gathering information from NPCs.
They said they'd never even heard rumors of a monster like that.
Could it be connected to the next event?
106. Clippers
It's rough having no clues at all about the monster that wiped out the strategy group with absurdly powerful magic, even if it was a surprise attack.
How are we supposed to prepare for it?
107. Akatsuki
>>106 All I can think of is to prepare thoroughly for surprise attacks.
Other than that, I guess we can pray to the goddess that we don't encounter it while we're exploring?
108. Clippers
>>107 There isn't a "pray" command, you know?
109. Jiromaru
>>107 Relying on divine intervention, lol.
110. Guren
What we know so far is:
・It is a powerful mage.
・It is equipped with a silver mask shaped like a skull and a magnificent golden staff.
・It can use 【Magic Circle】.
・It seems capable of controlling undead-type monsters.
That's about it, right?
111. Daken
The unknown magic is dangerous, but what's even more dangerous is the magic's power.
The spell that wiped out the rear guard was probably Dark Wave, but even accounting for the surprise attack, instantly killing everyone is insane.
112. Kota
>>111 The testing shows that it's impossible even with buffs stacked to the max.
I wonder if it's thanks to the equipment.
113. Jack
>>112 Maybe we'll get that staff if we defeat it.
114. Kota
>>113 If so, would its power make it worth the fight?
115. Rouge
>>114 Clearly not worth the trouble.
116. Aina
Our hot-blooded guy is burning for revenge, so please, please share any information you have!
117. Ricardo
Ah, the Hero really hates having his companions taken out, huh.
118. Guren
Anyone would lose it if four of their five companions were killed right in front of them...
119. Akatsuki
It seems like an event monster, so we'll need to raise some kind of flag before we can fight it.
Personally, I think a ridiculously strong mob like the Nightmare of the Northern Mountain is the flag.
120. Jiromaru
>>119 If more monsters like the Nightmare of the Northern Mountain show up, I might go insane.
Also, if it's too difficult, the casual players will leave, you know?
121. Daken
If the previous event was a defeat event, I want to believe the next one will finally give us a chance to take it down.

【Exploration Magic】Magic Thread 47【Discovery!】
1. Anonymous Mage
This is a thread for discussing magic.
Follow basic etiquette. The moderators will delete it.
Previous thread http://****************
>>980 Please make the next thread!
397. Anonymous Mage
Here's the list of known magic evolution paths so far:
【Earth Magic】→【Terra Magic】
【Water Magic】→【Water and Ice Magic】
【Fire Magic】→【Flame Magic】
【Wind Magic】→【Storm Magic】
【Light Magic】→【Holy Magic】
【Shadow Magic】→【Dark Magic】
Something like that, I guess?
398. Anonymous Mage
>>397 Good work. Still, I never realized that Night Vision and such fell under 【Exploration Magic】 rather than 【Dark Magic】.
399. Anonymous Mage
>>398 Yeah. I never noticed that attack-focused magic was separated into the elemental types, while magic that makes exploration easier was grouped under 【Exploration Magic】.
400. Anonymous Mage
I'm the one who made 【Exploration Magic】 public.
According to the NPC who gave me the information, "Elemental magic is a systematization of techniques that monsters can use instinctively." Apparently, humans were able to create Fire Breath by studying the abilities of monsters that breathe fire, for example.
Conversely, once those techniques had been systematized, intelligent monsters began imitating them, which is why some monsters can use magic too.
So apparently 【Exploration Magic】, which is useful in places unsuitable for human habitation, was developed from scratch by humans.
401. Anonymous Mage
>>400 Thanks for the information! I had no idea there was that kind of background to it.
So the magic monsters use is basically like reverse-importing it.
402. Anonymous Priest
>>400 Good work! In that case, is the priests' 【Healing Magic】 similar?
I'll ask at the temple.
403. Anonymous Mage
Still, there are quite a lot of types of magic.
There are six elements, seven composite elements, plus Exploration, Healing, Summoning, Enchantment, and Magic Circles, which are a little different.
If you tried to use them all, you could never have enough SP.
404. Anonymous Mage
>>403 No, no, there is absolutely no way you could master all of them.
You need to limit yourself to five types at most.
405. Anonymous Mage
>>403 You'd struggle to handle even just the six elements.
You should pour your SP into other abilities rather than waste it.
406. Anonymous Mage
>>403 Put positively, you'd be a jack-of-all-trades; put negatively, a master of none.
407. Anonymous Mage
(´・ω・)
408. Anonymous Priest
For priests, acquiring the basic elements is mandatory for Enchantment, though.
409. Anonymous Mage
>>408 Being able to enchant only with elements you can use is realistic, but it is kind of a hassle.
410. Anonymous Priest
>>409 The fact that it only costs 1 SP is a saving grace.
411. Anonymous Mage
Changing the subject, is the final answer that 【Alchemy】 is a production Skill rather than a magic-type Skill?
412. Anonymous Mage
>>411 Probably.
In the first place, 【Alchemy】 is almost entirely an inferior version of 【Potion Making】, so there's no way to test it.
413. Anonymous Mage
>>412 You should test it yourself. (smiling)
414. Anonymous Mage
>>412 Are you going to test it for us?
415. Anonymous Mage
>>413
>>414
No! Absolutely not!
416. Anonymous Priest
>>415 They say a reluctant "no" can mean yes?
417. Anonymous Mage
>>416 Of course no means no!
