The second wave is still mostly apprentice priests of Aruru and Gurunare, huh.
80. Anonymous Priest
>>79 The benefits of choosing Aruru are just too great right now...
If you're aiming to become a priest-warrior, Gurunare is the only choice.
81. Anonymous Priest
>>79 It seems you can convert later, so what's the harm?
82. Anonymous Priest
>>81 A resident priest would probably faint if they heard that lol
83. Anonymous Priest
The temples that bless you when you advance from Apprentice are the Aruru Temple and the Twelve Great Temples, but most residents are Aruru believers, after all...
84. Anonymous Priest
【Breaking News】A player has appeared who changed Jobs to become a priest of the 'Goddess of Death and Chaos' of all things at Fars's Twelve Great Temple!
85. Anonymous Priest
>>84 Faaahaha!
86. Anonymous Priest
>>84 No way, right?
87. Anonymous Priest
>>84 Huh? I'm in the second wave, but is it really that big a problem?
88. Anonymous Priest
>>84 An Iifa believer? Are they trying to get themselves killed?
89. Anonymous Priest
>>87 You can tell from the name 'Goddess of Death and Chaos,' but believers of the 'Goddess of Light and Order' treat her as practically an evil goddess.
Followers of the Twelve Great Temples believe all the goddesses should be worshiped equally, so it's not a problem there. But in a city leaning toward Aruru, like Fars, they'd probably treat you as a dangerous person.
90. Anonymous Priest
>>87 They look at you like you're in a cult, huh...
91. Anonymous Priest
Eek...
92. Anonymous Priest
【Update】The priest of Iifa appears to be setting out on a journey with a large haul of items
93. Anonymous Priest
>>92 A journey!?
94. Anonymous Priest
>>92 A journey... a wandering priest... That's kind of cool...
95. Anonymous Priest
>>92 A journey alone? That's pretty brave.
96. Anonymous Priest
>>92 Are you stalking them?
97. Anonymous Priest
>>96 Lol

We've gathered a lot more information about the continent thanks to Kanna.
618. Anonymous Surveyor
North and west of Fars are still unexplored lands untouched by humans. To the east lie warm plains and grasslands, while to the south is wasteland that turns into desert farther on.
The residents and library materials say the same thing, but there are no accurate maps, so we can't thank that person enough for charging ahead nonstop.
They upload tons of screenshots, too. They're way too nice!
619. Anonymous Surveyor
So it's safe to assume most towns are in the grassland region, right?
620. Anonymous Surveyor
>>619 Yeah.
There might be some in the wasteland or desert oases, though.
621. Anonymous Surveyor
It seems Kanna hasn't gone into the wasteland and has been heading straight east. I'd like to go explore that area in detail.
622. Kanna
Reporting in. I've finally reached the eastern edge of the continent!
623. Anonymous Surveyor
>>622 Huh?
624. Anonymous Surveyor
>>622 Seriously!?
625. Anonymous Surveyor
>>622 What kind of town is it!?
626. Anonymous Surveyor
>>622 The mobility of a horse is amazing...
627. Kanna
The town is called Twentino. It's a port town!
Here:[image][image][image]
628. Anonymous Surveyor
Amazing! It's the sea! It's a port!
629. Kanna
I decided to take a ship to another continent, using money I made by selling almost all the items I obtained along the way.
Apparently, the destination is the Aquaria Archipelago.
630. Anonymous Surveyor
>>629 Were there any traces of the mysterious player who discovered the new continent!?
631. Kanna
>>630 No. They told us that we were the first outsiders—in other words, the first players—to come to Twentino.
Apparently, Twentino is the only port town on this continent. It's the only place with a suitable spot for docking large ships.
632. Anonymous Surveyor
>>631 So does that mean the person or people who unlocked the map function went to the other continents by sea?
That only makes the mystery deeper!
633. Kanna
For now, I'm going to the other continents.
634. Anonymous Surveyor
>>633 Have a good trip!
635. Anonymous Surveyor
The other forums will probably get lively, too. They're the type who shares information publicly.
636. Anonymous Surveyor
But Kanna ignored the bosses and everything else along the way and just charged straight through, right?
So when will the other players reach Twentino, I wonder...
637. Anonymous Surveyor
>>636 It'll be after the strategy group at the very least. That's for sure. (Sorrow)

170. Seth
So can we assume that the events through post 158 are the truth behind the famous 'Nightmare Incident in the Northern Mountain' among the first wave?
171. Wu Lang
>>170 Probably. There was apparently also a theory that 'Nightmare in the Northern Mountain' was a player, but who would've thought 'Silver Mask' was a player too...
172. Markel
>>171 Exactly! From the context, 'Silver Mask' = Izaam seems to have been a monster player.
But if that's true, Izaam had the skill to nearly wipe out the strategy group of that time...
173. Gordon
>>172 That's not all. The way he obtained the silver mask and ornate staff that became his trademarks is also a mystery.
174. Maitake
So he was acting to pass himself off as an NPC? What a cringelord.
175. Gordon
Whether he was cringey or not, I have to admit it's impressive that he was unquestionably among the top players in terms of skill at the time.
Apparently monsters were treated terribly in the early days.
176. Wu Lang
>>175 Sounds like it. Wasn't the number of monster players down to single digits among the nonhuman players, even before a month had passed since the service began?
177. K2
More importantly, isn't it crazy that a top-tier powerhouse has teamed up with a monster that slaughtered even top players?
178. Demegin
>>177 Ah...
179. Markel
>>177 Now that you mention it...
180. Seth
Could this be the birth of the Demon King...?
181. Seth
>>180 You mean the king of the monster players?
182. Gordon
>>180 Then I have to volunteer for the Demon King's army as soon as possible. (Sense of duty)
183. Maitake
>>182 You're totally planning to curry favor with him lol
184. Eiji
Sorry to interrupt while everyone's getting excited, but is anyone here aiming to become an Orc?
185. Wu Lang
>>184 Me, I guess?
186. Seth
>>185 Are you a pervert?
187. Gordon
>>184 Why the sudden question?
188. Eiji
Apparently, there's an Orc nation in the southern wasteland.
The source is the goblin chieftain at my respawn point.
189. Wu Lang
>>188 Seriously? Ugh, I started in the Northern Mountain, so that's really far away!
190. Maitake
>>188 More importantly, Orcs have built a country? They're an intelligent life-form.
191. Eiji
Anyway, I'm going there. I'll report back if I feel like it.
192. Markel
>>191 Lol, what?
193. K2
>>191 You too? lol

559. Anonymous Human
>>555 Yeah, yeah. We're real-life friends, so we arrange meetups and form parties.
Following Monster Bro's advice, I took 【Linguistics】, so after leveling it up, I should eventually be able to have normal conversations.
560. Anonymous Human
One way or another, the fact that human-monster parties are popping up here and there is thanks to Monster Bro, isn't it?
561. Anonymous Forestfolk
Speaking of Monster Bro, this is a bit of a tangent, but what happened to that priest who was making a fuss about searching for the flying hero? Anyone know?
562. Anonymous Human
>>561 Oh, the guy who was making a fuss in Fars for a while.
563. Anonymous Mountainfolk
>>561 There was someone like that? I didn't know. I've been in Sekan lately.
What's a flying hero, anyway?
564. Anonymous Beastfolk
>>561 Come to think of it, I haven't seen him lately. Maybe he changed bases?
565. Anonymous Human
>>563 Apparently, when he was attacked by a PK, a mysterious flying figure saved him with some mysterious magic. He wanted to thank that person, so he'd been asking around until recently.
566. Anonymous Mountainfolk
>>565 Nothing but mysteries lol. There's no way he'll ever find them.
567. Anonymous Human
>>566 Yeah. Apparently, nobody had any real information.
568. Anonymous Forestfolk
He asks with such an intense, almost desperate air that it's kind of scary...
569. Anonymous Human
>>565 More importantly, are PKs really becoming that common?
570. Anonymous Human
>>569 Are you uninformed? PKs have been around since the very early days.
It's common knowledge that PK clans and PKK clans were formed when the clan function was implemented.
Besides, Monster Bro openly said that he PKed people and stole their equipment, so the other monster players probably PK people like it's no big deal, right? It seems even they don't do it in cities where the insanely powerful guard golems are deployed, though.
571. Anonymous Beastfolk
>>570 Have those guard golems ever moved? I'm from the new group, so I don't know.
572. Anonymous Forestfolk
>>571 They have. Apparently, they came when a bunch of sleazy pickup artists kept pestering female players.
When the men panicked and drew their weapons, the golems judged it hostile behavior and killed them instantly. I saw it happen.
573. Anonymous Human
>>571 By the way, those golems were made by a goddess and are located in the Twelve Great Temples. Since every city has a Twelve Great Temple, it seems they're effectively deployed in every city.
They're activated when someone commits a serious crime or when player harassment is detected.
So apparently even NPCs don't generally carry out assassinations in cities, even if they're plotting something. That means there are basically no PK victims inside cities. There are rumors of ways to bypass that, and some idiots are even boasting that they'll defeat the guard golems, though.
574. Anonymous Mountainfolk
>>571 To add to that, when a guard golem defeats a PK, the victim apparently receives the stolen items and the perpetrator's dropped items.
In return, they don't get involved in incidents outside cities. They won't stop someone who PKed outside a city from entering one. The person's marker changes color and the guards stop them anyway, though, so it doesn't really matter.
575. Anonymous Beastfolk
>>574 I can't tell whether they're competent or incompetent lol
576. Anonymous Human
>>575 You could say the same about this entire game.
577. Anonymous Human
>>576 We're going to get deleted! We're going to get deleted!
