Hyeonwoo and I were hiding a short distance apart in a place like a narrow box, keeping an eye on Haru and Juhyeok's movements.

Hyeonwoo seemed relatively calm, as though he was properly carrying out the mission of tailing them, but….

On the other hand, I was too preoccupied with hiding the pounding of my heart to care about the tailing mission or anything else.

Ever since we'd almost ended up pressed tightly against each other when we hurried into the box moments ago, my heart hadn't stopped pounding.

I'd had a similar experience once before.

When Hyeonwoo and I went back together after our courage test in the mountains….

It must have been because I was scared of the dark mountains then…. So why now…?
