Master!!!!!

[Want to scrim?]

On the third day of tournament prep, Sahyang contacted me.

Scrim is short for Scrimmage—in a word, it means something like a 'practice match.'

From what she told me, they hadn't been practicing the actual tournament's four-person squad mode, but some weird 6v6 team match instead.

'I went through all that for nothing.'

Of course, the hourly pay was good, but it was still wasted effort.

Sahyang had already put together a team of three.

Soran, who'd played Eid Chronicle with me; Park Seongwon, who used to hang around with Kang Shinwoo; and Sahyang. She was trying to recruit me as the final member.

I told her I'd think about it, then quietly watched Sahyang play.

It was a game they were playing with Kang Shinwoo temporarily filling in, and the level of play was definitely high...
