I kept eating chicken, repeating "It's a dilemma" over and over like an idiot.

I'd already reached out to Sahyang, but she hadn't replied yet, so I kept biting my nails, on edge in case the spots filled up.

As it turned out, it was an invite-only server, meaning streamers invited other streamers. But the only Afreeca connections I had were the people I'd briefly met on Discord.

I wasn't close with any of them, and they'd only been kind to me in a fleeting encounter. It wasn't like I could go back later and say, 'But you said you'd invite me!'

"Haaah. This is driving me crazy."

Sahyang definitely wasn't going to Afreeca. She already had plenty of connections on Twitch, and she had no reason to stream on Afreeca, where she wouldn't get any new viewers.

But this was an incredible opportunity for me. I couldn't just ditch her and go to Afreeca.

If I got on her bad side and she dropped me, the stream of viewers coming from someone with hundreds of thousands of subscribers and tens of thousands of followers would dry up completely.

I couldn't just leave, but sitting still was making me restless...
