In the middle of an empty plain, a dozen or so kilometers west of Valman, beneath a dark sky glittering with stars, two humans and two demons sat around a campfire, preparing to hold the First Human-Demon Friendly Exchange Conference.

As he spoke, Kagami poured tea that had been warming by the fire into the mug Alice was holding.
