“Kururu-san! Are you all right?!”

A little while later, Tina came rushing over, looking frantic and desperate. Though Kururu wasn’t hurt, Tina moved close and began repeatedly casting healing magic on her, enveloping her body in green light.

“Honestly... don’t do anything so reckless! When you charged at that monster, Kururu-san, you took years off my life!”

“Come to think of it, what were the rest of you doing, apart from the princess?”

“Huh? W-w-whoa... H-he’s here!”

At Kagami’s casual question, Tina froze for a moment, then immediately hid behind Kururu. But when she realized that the man before her was the one who had defeated the monster and saved Kururu, she cautiously peeked her head out, using Kururu as a shield, and managed to mumble, “Th-thank you for saving Kururu-san!”

“The moment everyone started moving at once, I got swept up in the crowd. Kuu-chan was the only one who immediately rushed to help, so she wasn’t caught up in it.”

A little while later, Parna and Rex appeared, walking slowly and looking exhausted. Parna muttered this with a relieved expression, as if saying, “Good grief.”

Hearing that, Kagami nodded in understanding and said, “I see,” reflecting that he’d been in much the same situation himself.
