This delicate, fragile membrane seemed so weak that it could crumble with a simple wave of the hand, like a leaf on the verge of disintegration.
At first glance, it might seem the enemy had been careless, but considering how difficult it was to trace the plague's source, their lack of caution was understandable.
At this point, powerful defensive or concealment magic would be meaningless anyway...
