Am I Alive?

Whoosh—.

*‘What was that?’*

The sensation of light enveloping my body ended. I realized my body was lying in a bed again.

‘I thought I was dead, but am I still alive?’

My body felt strangely vigorous. So much so that I felt I could get up right now and run dozens of laps around a yard.

*‘Did my condition improve after a good night's sleep?’*

If so, that was a huge relief.

There were still things I wanted to say to Emma.

I should get up right now and say what I couldn't say to Emma. And since I was feeling better, it would be nice to hug her after so long.
