Going Solo (2)

“Why are they shooting in a place like this?”

We arrived near the shoot location after about two hours on the road.

Aseong complained as he looked out the window at the nearby rice paddies.

“Because the studio's huge.”

Having a large studio is every director's dream.

But a large space comes with a large price tag.

To make that dream a reality, they'd given up some convenience of location.

That's why the big studios are on Seoul's outskirts or in the provinces.

Of course, I live in Gyeonggi Province too, but the studio was way out on the opposite side.

So Aseong had ended up taking the wheel for me...
