Frankly speaking,

I was aware that it was somewhat excessive.

Even if it was a system that existed legally, exploiting it to hold executions disguised as trials was definitely crossing the line.

There's no law anywhere in the world that says it's okay to kill people based on a lawyer's incitement without even a prosecutor or judge, which are essential to a court of law.
