"So that's the Duke's Castle. Kinda average-sized, huh?"

I had arrived at the Duchy with a small detachment ahead of the Main Force. However, not at the prearranged rendezvous point, but at a different, secluded location.

"The internal garrison seems small. Their discipline is lax, too."

"Isn't it too peaceful for wartime?"

"Wouldn't it be because they pulled out all their main forces? With the elites gone, the rear is only guarded by rabble."
