The horns of a dilemma are best removed swiftly. As soon as the treaty signing concluded, we immediately began preparing to dispatch a delegation for negotiations with the Empire.

It wasn't a difficult task. We already had groundwork laid.

Or rather, we practically just reassembled the previous team, swapping out the idiotic Noble Faction and Royalist Faction members.

I, having already been there before, served as the ambassador, and we chose a bright spark from the Assembly as the deputy ambassador.

We supplemented this with a few competent specialists from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

"Good work, Your Excellency. See you again soon."

"I'll be back shortly, Camilla."

And so, our delegation, formed in just a few days, embarked on its journey amidst the enthusiastic cheers of the Capital's citizens.

Everyone's steps were incredibly light at the thought of finally ending this tedious Total War regime.
