“Why… Why is that impossible?”

“Why are you asking why it’s impossible? Are you being serious?”

Seoha was plainly flustered. But Myeongjeon asked her in return. Was she serious? Did she really think it could be done?

“In the end, what you don’t like about them is their technical ability, isn’t it? But technical skill is difficult to improve quickly. Basically, the reason our band improved so fast was that everyone had talent.”

After hearing them play earlier, Myeongjeon concluded that it would be difficult for them to accomplish anything in three weeks. It wasn’t just a matter of skill… The atmosphere of the band itself was different.

“Still…”

“There’s no ‘still.’ If it can’t be done, it can’t be done.”

Seoha’s voice sounded as though she couldn’t let go of the matter. Myeongjeon let out a deep sigh and spoke.

“You said they’ve been playing for years, and that’s still their level. That’s because they decided that ‘this is good enough.’ They haven’t stopped growing so much as failed to see any need to grow. That’s simply the style of music they play. They’re a band that plays to ‘have fun,’ rather than one like us that says, ‘Let’s hone our technical skills and put on a good performance!’”
