Vieta arrived at the office earlier than usual. Since her home had been a mess, the office was bound to be a disaster too. Though it was a shabby office with no one coming and going, she still wanted to keep it clean.

Unlike the old house, the relatively new office was in better condition than she had expected. Thanks to that, she finished cleaning earlier than anticipated.

With time to spare, Vieta took out the parchment scroll containing information about the houses and began looking through it.

Most of the estates Blanc had selected were half a day’s journey from the capital. Vieta had wanted to go farther from the capital, but given that Blanc had to visit the imperial palace frequently, she had to settle for this distance.

“I can’t tell which ones are good just from looking at them like this….”

The parchment contained information about the villages, along with rough layouts and exterior descriptions of the houses. Still, when it came to houses, wasn’t the proper way to judge one to see it in person?

Even after cutting down the list, there were still more than five places to visit. They were scattered all over, in every direction.

To visit every estate, she would have to rent a horse for at least three days. She could go on foot, but she did not want to push herself only two or three days after returning from the pilgrimage.
