Side Story 1: A Couple's Weekend

(This side story takes place after Carlisle received Vita’s father’s permission to marry her, but before the two entered university.)

One sunny noon.

Vita stood staring at the mirror, wrestling with an unexpected dilemma.

“Hmm… Hmmm…”

Holding clothes in both small hands, she puffed out her cheeks slightly.

This one? Or this one?

As indecision kept washing over her, she absentmindedly ruffled her hair, then stopped with a start.

“Ah, ugh… What am I doing, seriously?”

After all, she’d worked hard on that hair.

She hastily fixed it back into place, then returned to her earlier dilemma...
