Conflicting Feelings

Emily Swan finally confessed her feelings.

Feelings she had built up layer by layer, feelings she had hidden for so long.

Though she already knew the ending, they were feelings that would never be returned.

If that was how things were, then perhaps this was better. That was why she thought so.

Her feelings were too pitiful to let them end without ever being conveyed.
