Vita returned to her room.

She roughly took off the clothes getting in the way, hung them up, and lay down on the bed.

She buried her head in the soft, fluffy pillow. She mussed up her hair with her hand and thought for a moment, but since no solution came to mind, a deep sigh escaped her.

She could not see her own expression, but she felt sure it had turned miserable.

In fact, she had been feeling terribly depressed lately.

Vita needlessly grasped the necklace around her neck, the one Carlisle had given her. Then she hugged the stuffed toy Carlisle had also given her as a present, but—

Even so, her mood did not improve much.
