End of the Mental World

The time I spent drifting through the Mental World had finally come to an end.

"All right, Asmodeus. I'll be careful."

[Your physical body will collapse. This is fundamentally different from mere death. Your very essence will crumble, and your soul, contained within that body, will shatter along with it. So please, *never*. *Never* use my Authority. You have already crossed the line. I emphasize this once more. *Never*. *Never* use it.]

It was a warning I had heard hundreds of times, but Asmodeus was unusually strict with it today.

I nodded.

"Con. You heard that, right?"

[I heard.]

"I can't use Authority anymore. I'll have to rely on your Psychic Power. So... I'm counting on you."
