Chapter 3: I Will Become the Destroyer of the Original Story
by Fat PenguinFirebat. Firebat.
Literally, her weapon was a Firebat. I’m not sure about the restrictions, but she exclusively uses a bat as her weapon.
She’s incredibly strong too. There are few people in the world who could best that Firebat in close combat.
She’s the woman who tormented Yoo Eun-ha almost daily under the guise of training her.
Hmm, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to showcase my skills.

Hansung Academy
Hansung Academy was the first Hunter education institution established in Korea after the appearance of the Gates.
Students attend regular schools up to middle school, receiving the same education as before the Gates. In high school, their path diverges between regular schools and Hunter academies.
Among these, Hansung Academy stood out as the most prestigious, producing the most talented individuals among Hunter academies. Admission required either a recommendation or passing an entrance exam.
On my way to the academy, various comments grated on my ears.
“Damn, the girls at Hansung Academy are something else.”
“Holy shit, look at that white hair. She’s fucking gorgeous.”
The leering gazes were quite unsettling.
This must be class 1-A.
When I found the door and entered, many students had already claimed their seats.
Cliques were already forming, with children of famous guild executives grouped together, and the newly admitted elites clustered in another corner.
As I opened the door and stepped in, all eyes turned to me for a moment.
Interested gazes from one side. Envious looks from another, and leering stares from yet another.
As expected, these kinds of reactions.
After all, I’m the sister of a Divine Sword user. Among these aspiring Hunters, there are probably some who have high expectations.
“That white hair must mean she’s an Awakened, right?”
“If a Korean’s hair is unusual like that, it usually does.”
Surprisingly, it seemed the character Yoo Eun-ha was generating quite a bit of anticipation.
Disliking the unnecessary attention, I tapped my Magic Gear.
Indeed, this year’s new class at Hansung Academy was receiving impressive expectations. Information about Choi Si-woo, who had awakened the Divine Sword, was briefly posted with a photo.
“Huh? Wait a second.”
Ash-gray hair, and without a doubt, a pretty boy with such a sense of justice that you can’t help but think, “Ah, this guy is definitely a harem protagonist.”
Well, what more needs to be said?
Let me explain briefly.
The boy named Choi Si-woo is the protagonist of this story.
And I’m supposed to be one of his heroines.
But looking at that face, I can’t help but think:
‘Damn, I want to punch him.’
But what does it matter anyway? He can live his life, and I’ll live mine.
He may be the protagonist, but there’s no rule saying I can’t become strong too. It’s none of my business if he ends up fooling around with multiple women.
Come to think of it, he’s quite oblivious too, fitting for a harem protagonist.
Whether that’s the case or not, the other students are keeping their distance from me, as if there’s some invisible barrier around me.
I don’t mind envious gazes, but being treated like this actually stings a bit.
“Hmm?”
For just a moment, my eyes met with that protagonist, Choi Si-woo.
He stared at me for a while, then approached.
In an instant, the noisy classroom fell silent.
“The Divine Sword is approaching the Divine Sword’s sister!”
“Does this mean they already have some connection?”
The pretty boy with his unnecessarily good looks came up to me and flashed a bright smile.
What’s with this guy, suddenly stirring up gossip and causing a commotion?
“Hello, I’m Choi Si-woo. You’re the Divine Sword’s younger sister, right?”
He’s really sociable, like a true insider.
“I’m Yoo Eun-ha. Nice to meet you.”
“You know, I really admire Yoo Jin-seok, the North Star of the Hunter world!”
“Is that so? My brother is indeed amazing. But you’ve awakened the Divine Sword. You’ll probably surpass even my brother.”
I can’t believe the day has come when I have to call a man ‘oppa’ with my own mouth. This is the worst.
But strangely, it rolled off my tongue naturally.
So, even while feeling it’s the worst, that kind of term comes out effortlessly.
It’s not terrible. Humans are adaptable creatures. I can’t exactly call him ‘hyung’.
If I claimed to be a man, I’d be labeled a lunatic.
“No, having a Divine Sword doesn’t necessarily make me amazing.”
That’s when it happened. Suddenly, I sensed another presence.
“No. The Divine Sword chose Choi Si-woo directly, but Yoo Eun-ha is different.”
Something annoying has latched on.
“What do you mean?”
“Excuse me. I’m Reina, a second-generation otherworlder. Yoo Jin-seok, Yoo Eun-ha’s brother, is certainly a Divine Sword user, but that doesn’t mean Yoo Eun-ha is one, right?”
Reina. A second-generation otherworlder who arrived from another world during the Great Cataclysm.
Her flowing golden hair is admittedly beautiful.
She’s one of Choi Si-woo’s heroines, and unlike me, a character who doesn’t die.
A woman who’s been interested in Choi Si-woo from the start. To be precise, she’s interested in the Divine Sword awakening that Choi Si-woo possesses.
And a character who believes such individuals should be rightfully praised. She looks down on ordinary humans despite living on Earth herself.
She’s unpleasant, but it might be quite interesting to reform someone like her.
But why is she trying to get involved with me of all people?
Choi Si-woo is already a handful, but if Reina gets involved too, the original story will completely derail.
“Yeah. So?”
“So there’s a clear difference between Choi Si-woo, who awakened the Divine Sword, and you. How can you already be trying to seduce him?”
Seducing? In this form?
I may have become Eun-ha, but my heart certainly hasn’t become female.
I prefer women’s bodies, not men’s.
Even now, I think I might be able to love between women once I get used to this female body.
No, I guess I’d still have to use some kind of toy.
No. No matter what, putting that inside is a bit…
…Maybe a dildo would be okay?
Well, for now, let’s deal with this prickly woman first.
“Choi Si-woo was the one who said he wanted to be friends?”
“That’s right. Reina, was it? Who I make friends with is my choice. You can be my friend too.”
Choi Si-woo is really a hot-blooded boy with obvious protagonist qualities.
He’s already trying to win over Reina.
I absolutely must not get close to these two. I need to live as Yoo Eun-ha in my own way. Or is this naive Choi Si-woo actually considering me as a potential love interest?
Well, I suppose I’m beautiful enough to rival even the second-generation otherworlder Reina.
Even so, Choi Si-woo probably isn’t that kind of character. He’s just that typical harem protagonist, not a sex maniac who openly targets women or a golden boy who enjoys stealing other people’s partners.
For now, although a very contradictory situation has occurred with me involved, Choi Si-woo’s lines didn’t deviate too far from the original story.
Originally, Reina approaches first, and as Choi Si-woo suggests friendship, a strange relationship is established. Reina develops feelings for Choi Si-woo while being conscious of him as a rival, which later blossoms into love.
Reina? I’m Choi Si-woo. Let’s be friends.
Choi Si-woo, who only received the Constellation’s Divine Sword awakening, needed connections. The Constellation also encouraged him to do so.
Now then, what will be your next lines?
“Hmph, fine. I’ll specially become friends with you two.”
“I’m glad to become friends with you both as well. Please take care of me!”
?
Why are these two so friendly? You two should just play by yourselves, why are you naturally trying to include me in your group?
In the original work, I had so little presence that apart from being gossiped about at the academy, I didn’t become close with Choi Si-woo here in the beginning.
While the two main characters of the story were chattering on either side of me, the front door of the classroom opened, and a woman with a red ponytail in a tracksuit entered confidently.
She looked to be in her 20s, and the baseball bat in her hand… Well, I could tell who she was.
“Oh, everyone’s gathered nicely!”
Firebat Kim Ji-hye. A member of the Covenant Guild and an A-rank Hunter, now working as an instructor at Hansung Academy, laughed heartily.
“Everyone! I sincerely congratulate you on making it to Hansung Academy! Hmm, I see some familiar faces too. I’m Kim Ji-hye! I’m an A-rank Hunter and the homeroom teacher for class 1-A! Please take care of me!”
Her bright smile as she introduced herself right after entering was the same as in the previous work. Indeed, the main heroine of the previous story.
It seems that in this version where I exist, Yoo Jin-seok didn’t pursue Kim Ji-hye’s route.
As I was quietly observing, Kim Ji-hye noticed my gaze and looked at me.
“Well then, since it’s the first day, let’s have a self-introduction session! You there with the white hair! Introduce yourself and tell us about your unique ability.”
Self-introduction? Starting with me?
Ah, alright, I’ll do it. I am the destroyer of the original story, after all.
“My name is Yoo Eun-ha. My hobby is reading, and my unique ability is Acceleration. I don’t have any particular likes or dislikes.”
“Huh?”
Kim Ji-hye’s face momentarily looked bewildered at my introduction.
In the original work, Yoo Eun-ha didn’t disclose her ability.
As a result, she was subjected to all sorts of slander from the academy students, questioning if she was really the sister of the Divine Sword because she seemed to have no ability.
Moreover, Acceleration was also Yoo Jin-seok’s ability.
Honestly, they’re all potential competitors. In such a situation, unless you’re famous like Choi Si-woo, there’s no need to reveal your ability.
However, I have 3 abilities. What difference does it make if I mention 1 of them?
“You’re being ridiculous. Just because your brother has Acceleration, you think you have it too? I know what kind of state you were in during middle school.”
It’s not just friendly gazes I’m receiving.
It seems there’s also a classmate from when Yoo Eun-ha attended regular school.
The Yoo Eun-ha of that time was indeed quiet and timid. She kept her hair messy and unkempt.
And she gave her brother Yoo Jin-seok quite a headache with her house arrest awakening. But what can you do, things are different now.
“There’s going to be an ability test anyway, so what reason would I have to lie?”
As I casually retorted, the bob-haired girl who had been trying to mock me until just now blushed, seemingly unable to come up with a rebuttal.
But who is she? There’s no one like her in Yoo Eun-ha’s memories.
Glancing at Kim Ji-hye, I heard her sigh.
Who told you to start with me?
“Since it’s the first day, we’ll just do an ability test and finish up. Now, let’s head to the test site!”
The test site sounds good.
“Hey, I told you to come to the academy, but what are you going to do if you lie like that?”
Kim Ji-hye muttered such words on the way.
“It’s not a lie. You’ll see when you watch.”
Still under suspicious gazes, I headed towards the test site.
* * *
“Now, there will be wooden dolls in front of you. Use all your abilities and mana to destroy them.”
The academy’s testing system hasn’t changed much from the original story.
Adult male-sized wooden dolls stood before us. No matter how much you destroy them, they regenerate.
Every time you destroy one, it’s counted, and you keep going until your mana runs out. With this, the instructor judges the students’ mana capacity, abilities, and combat power, and adjusts the training method accordingly.
This is the perfect opportunity. How many can I cut down with Yoo Eun-ha’s current body?
Glancing at the other students, I see them attacking crudely.
Probably because Yoo Eun-ha’s body is female, and even though they’re siblings, her physical strength is likely inferior to Yoo Jin-seok’s. Firebat clearly said to use both ability and mana, so it’s not impossible.
I release the mana inside my body.
“Oh. That kid. To use Mana Manipulation to that extent?”
Hearing Firebat’s voice, I charged towards the wooden doll.
My unique ability is…
Yes. Since it will become my main ability from now on, I should organize it once more.
Literally, it’s about accelerating any concept. If I use Parallel Circuit here, the effect will be doubled.
What if I push it to the limit?
I gripped a small dagger.
Given my current weak physical strength, to destroy as many wooden dolls as possible, I need a light weapon and to finish with one strike.
For several days, I’ve been training my brain to use Parallel Circuit.
Of course, I prevented my brain from nearly exploding by not removing restrictions like last time, and only raised it to an appropriate level.
In that state, I applied parallel circuits to my entire body.
Once again, my head spins and text appears in my mind.
[The world slowed to a crawl. Only I move, and only the wooden doll before me has any presence.]
[I raised the dagger and instantly destroyed the core of the wooden doll.]
Crack!
[How much time has passed?]
[It feels like an eternity has gone by from my perspective.]
[This relentless wooden doll keeps regenerating no matter how many times I destroy it, and during this seemingly endless time, my body’s mana is depleting.]
[The Mana Circuits created using Parallel Circuit are starting to bottom out.]
[When will this end?]
“Student Yoo Eun-ha! Stop!”
!!
As I released my ability, my vision blurred with sudden fatigue.
“Ah, yes.”
By now, the other students had finished and were watching from a distance.
“You, with such talent, you’re beyond your brother. Look at the scoreboard.”
I was astonished to see the rankings that appeared on the electronic board.
Yoo Eun-ha – 9999
Reina – 1459
Choi Si-woo – 1124
Park Ji-soo – 1114
Han Soo-ji – 1057
I must have really overdone it. But.
“Is it only 9999?”
I felt like I had destroyed many more than that.
“That’s because 9999 is the maximum.”
“Is that so? That’s disappointing.”
As I licked my lips in apparent disappointment, Firebat Kim Ji-hye wore an uneasy expression.
By the way, my vision is getting darker.
Ah, is this a side effect of the Parallel Circuit? The physical burden of Acceleration alone is enormous. Adding Parallel Circuit on top of that is pushing it to the extreme.
I need to get home quickly.
“Instructor. So we’re done for today, right?”
“Uh, y-yes.”
I sprinted home at full speed, ignoring Choi Si-woo and Reina calling out from behind.
Hmm, well this isn’t confusing.
So, you have the old divine sword, Eunha’s brother and the new divine sword Choi Si-woo, bit confusing but there’s no other way to put it.
Reina’s attention will now switch to her with how much she accidentally showed off.
Thanks for the chapter!
