While my speech sent the Kron army’s morale soaring to the heavens, Sharen was casting a large-scale spell on them from behind.

This spell consumed nearly all of Sharen’s mana. She had cast it on the Kron army in secret, and the only one among them to realize that they had been placed under a spell was Aron, who had studied magic.

“My lord…”

“Sharen, are you all right?”

“Yes, I’m fine. I’m just dizzy because I used a little too much mana.”

Sharen looked extremely tired, so I hurried over to her.

She whispered into my ear.

“I cast the volo spell on the Kron army, just as Chief Strategist Leo planned.”

“Is that so? Good work, Sharen.”

The Northern Army had no idea that some secret preparation was taking place within the Kron army...
