We'll Sleep in Separate Rooms

In an instance, players are brought together only by mutual interest. When the crunch comes, some may betray their teammates to save themselves, but doing so can easily get them isolated by the other players. After all, nobody wants to be the next one sold out.

But if the one sold out is a team leader, the problem is even worse. It practically guarantees that person will become the target of the entire team.

The players still resting in the lobby immediately turned hostile toward them. No one said it aloud, but their eyes made their judgment clear.

Zhang Si still didn’t believe them and pressed them relentlessly. “Then how did you survive in the monster horde? We don’t believe you were attacked and all came back safe and sound without a single person getting hurt.”

Zhong Mu raised a hand and pointed at Yin Xiu. “Look at him, covered in blood. You call that safe and sound? If he hadn’t held off the horde, I wouldn’t be standing here talking to you now, okay?”

Everyone’s gaze fell on Yin Xiu, drenched in blood. For a moment, no one could speak. At least it looked like they had indeed been attacked, but no matter how you looked at it, the outcome was hard to believe.
