Infusing Practical Life Skills

The place I booked was a type of Residence Hotel.

Like other hotels, it had attendants, but it also allowed the use of basic cooking equipment like washing machines and induction cooktops.

The reason I chose this specific type of accommodation with such systems, rather than a more comfortable hotel, was to infuse Livia with basic practical living skills.

It seemed she intended to continue living in modern society, and for that, she would need a certain Adjustment Period.

*...And so would I.*

Although I had grown somewhat accustomed to Modern Goods after eating and sleeping at Chae-rin’s Studio Apartment for many nights, it was still quite confusing at times.

No matter that I was born and raised in modern times, I had spent over 20 years in Gaia. It was inevitable that some awkwardness would remain.

Sometimes, I’d find myself wondering, *“How did I use this again...?”*

So, I planned to try everything I’d wanted to do. I’d try my old Home Cooking recipes again and enjoy modern Entertainment. I intended to revisit the nostalgia of the past that I had forgotten.
