The Beginning of Berserk Mode B

Thump-thump-thump! My heart pounded fiercely. Heat suddenly flared in my calm mind. The veins in my temples bulged, and my breath suddenly grew ragged.

These were common changes that occurred throughout my body when Berserk State B arrived. It was trying to induce physical reactions to influence my mind.

Moreover, Berserk State B often mimicked the most intense emotion I had felt in the past month, cunningly skipping over pleasant ones like happiness.

Perhaps because of that, after a long while, the emotion that came over me this time was anger. Usually, only dark desires like lust would surface.

This time, it was the lingering emotion from meeting Asmodeus that had come to find me.

As soon as I felt the heat rising in my body, I calmly took repeated deep breaths.
