Even during summer vacation, I worked Fridays.

The people who came to that place didn’t get summer vacation, and since I was scheduled to work the same days every week, I felt bad saying I wouldn’t come just because it was summer break. Plus, I had a simple sense of duty to earn money, so I was working today, too.

As usual, my main job was reception. I showed the high-spirited ladies in and left them to their assigned hosts.

At first, I’d felt a little reluctant, but everyone left with a smile, and I didn’t mind talking to people, so I found myself thinking it wasn’t so bad after all.
