—Karen's Perspective: Mistaken for an Ordinary Bird—
I returned to my Master's side after several days away.
From a distance, I thought it couldn't be what I was seeing, but there was no mistaking it.
A guardian of hell that drags creatures from the ground into holes is here.
To think my Master has made not only Chuearenie but even Anfer Fourmi his companions.
My Master truly is an enigmatic being.
He brings two beings that are enemies of each other together in one place.
Come to think of it, Fenrir and I were enemies too... Well, he is my Master, after all.
But have the number of golems increased again?
My Master's power is unfathomable, but even this many are frightening.
There are more golems inside the house than there were at first, too.
Fifteen golems that process wood.
Five golems that make my Master's clothes and fabric.
The golems processing monster hides have... increased. There are six of them now?
Thirty new golems to manage things outside.
My Master's golems think and act independently.
They move without being ordered and even seem to consult with one another.
My Master's power overturns the fundamental assumption that golems have no will.
As expected of my Master.
Golems were originally one type of weapon specialized for combat.
I became curious while watching my Master's golems, so I asked what they were capable of.
Every one of them could easily pulverize rocks.
The rocks they pulverized are famous for their hardness, too.
Guarding the house must be one of their duties as well.
Watching closely, I see them being taught magic by the newly created golems.
Indeed, if they were created with that much magical power infused into them, they ought to be able to use magic.
They are frightening beings in their own way. It's a good thing they're allies.
I look at the newly created golems.
The magic stones in their foreheads.
They are not ordinary magic stones; they have been evolved.
When a magic stone stores highly pure magical power, it evolves.
A magic stone's value is measured by its clarity, but every magic stone my Master has is of the highest rank.
It is said that more than thirty mages are needed to create just one of the highest rank.
To think he would use such things in golems...
And some golems even possess universal stones, rare among magic stones.
They are probably for guarding outside the house.
...My Master is evolving magic stones as he walks, but, well, he is my Master.
This time, it's white.
A magic stone with the power to heal even someone on the verge of death.
As I watched, he handed me that magic stone.
Apparently, I'm free to use it as I please. I can't believe I was given such a precious magic stone...
I shall put it to good use.
...
I heard that my Master had gone hunting with Core-dono, so I followed after them.
While searching for my Master from above, I saw a wyvern attacking him!
When I tried to rush to his aid, the wyvern's head came off in midair.
I froze in midair at the sight.
The wyvern has layered magical barriers around itself.
To attack it, one must first use magic to neutralize its barriers.
My Master shattered the barriers with sheer force and beheaded it in one stroke.
What a truly bold Master he is.
