“Damn... I don’t know the way...”
I’d managed to defeat Spur, but I’d overlooked something important—and basic.
I didn’t know my way around the Northern District. It was already hard to see in the dark, and now there was even a chance I might get lost.
I’d really rather avoid that, but I couldn’t just stand around here forever. Guess I had no choice but to keep moving.
For now, I set off in the direction Bishop Levios had run.
“He probably hasn’t gone too far...”
I’d thought so when I caught up with him once before, but Bishop Levios really wasn’t fast on his feet. And with his build, he probably didn’t have the stamina to keep running for long, either.
Fissel, on the other hand, was young and in her prime as both a swordswoman and a mage. I couldn’t imagine her falling behind in terms of raw athletic ability.
Besides, she had sword magic. Being able to use it easily from a distance and adjust its power as needed was certainly convenient.
