Chapter 2
So, this is what I found when I came to my senses.
Let me take stock of the situation again.
White hair so unkempt it covers my eyes.
Pitch black dark eyes.
Long eyelashes and delicately structured face.
A slender yet perfectly proportioned body that could captivate any man.
Looking quietly in the mirror, this face belongs to Yoo Jinseok's sister, Yoo Eunha.
However, being constantly compared since childhood to her successful brother Yoo Jinseok led to so much stress that she became a shut-in, staying cooped up at home.
"My hair's gotten super long."
Suddenly glancing at 'my' desk, I recalled how that bastard of an Oppa had his friend at Hanseong Academy write my recommendation letter.
Wait, hold up - why am I identifying myself as Yoo Eunha?
Am I the corporate slave dude who worked at that black company? Or am I Yoo Eunha, the girl full of resentment towards society?
I'm not sure. But the memories of some nameless guy who got into a flame war with the author of the novel featuring Yoo Eunha coexist with my current memories as Yoo Eunha.
With these memories existing simultaneously, I needed to get my shit together.
Whether I was originally a man, or I'm just a girl who's gone crazy and imagines having memories of being a man, I can't just die like a dog.
"Oppa, if you send me to the Academy, I'll seriously kill myself!"
"Go ahead, you little bitch."
I recall 'myself' pulling that suicide stunt before.
Looking back now, I want to crawl into a hole and die from embarrassment.
Seems going to the Academy is a done deal. If that's the case, I need to fix my death flag somehow.
One week until Academy starts. Suddenly feeling overwhelmed, I opened the cigarette pack on my desk and put one in my mouth.
"Phew."
My vision cleared up again.
But what's with these cigarettes? They're giving me some weird high.
Whatever, I need to think about what comes next.
Right. Okay. Let's call this a dream. I mean seriously, how could a world like this actually exist? Even though I have Yoo Eunha's memories, this must be a dream.
There's no way a terrifying world setting like Divine Sword Unparalleled could exist in reality.
Well then, it wouldn't be so bad to live here until I wake up from this dream.
"With my abilities, it shouldn't be that difficult."
My previous self was completely powerless.
Venting frustrations at the world, finding everything bothersome, never putting in any effort.
I opened a notebook on the desk and wrote down everything I knew about the character 'Yoo Eunha'.
Name - Yoo Eunha
Age - 17
Gender - Female
Unique Abilities
Skills Possessed
[Swordsmanship] [Physical Enhancement] [Magic Power Control]
Title: One Who Approaches the Source
Whether 'I'm' a character in a novel or whatever, one thing's for certain - I'm definitely not weak.
I learned swordsmanship from that guy called Oppa before getting banished to this house. Physical Enhancement releases magic power from within to dramatically increase physical abilities for a set time. While the effectiveness varies, pretty much any Hunter candidate can use it.
Magic Power Control is the ability to handle magic power. Think of it as control.
Surprisingly, this world's renowned scholar Kim Mu-ryeok claims you can even diet using Magic Power Control.
He said maintaining Magic Power Control also increases physical abilities. The author wrote that training while using Physical Enhancement in that state leads to improvements.
Anyway, this body has all the basics covered.
: Configures brain and magic power in parallel circuits. Side effects if used too deeply
: Accelerates concepts, actions, etc.
: Develops resistance when body acclimates to poison chambers, ice zones, lava zones etc. inside Gates
Three unique abilities.
The average Awakened One has one ability.
Yet I have three. Of course, even using all of these together still loses to protagonist Choi Siwoo's Divine Sword alone.
Can't you see it?
These are just random abilities the author crammed in trying to create settings.
That's why the explanations are such a goddamn mess.
The author definitely said it. These were originally meant for villains. But since those villains never appeared, they just dumped them here.
"Gotta get used to this body."
The weird thing is that despite having these strange memories, I was already accustomed to being Yoo Eunha.
A curious thought struck me.
What would happen if I fully accelerated my brain in parallel? Would I understand the truths of the universe?
They called it a unique ability. I should be able to use it however I want.
I configured acceleration and parallel circuits in my head.
Instantly, countless thoughts began coexisting in my mind. The parallel circuits created numerous spaces, filling them with many things.
[Acceleration] [Acceleration] [Acceleration]
[This is insane. Way beyond just a headache. Even migraines can't be this bad. I'm gonna lose my mind]
[Gonna lose it. Gonna lose it. Gonna lose it. Gonna lose it. Gonna lose it. Gonna lose it. Gonna lose it. Gonna lose it. Gonna lose it. Gonna lose it.]
CRACK!
"Fuck, that hurts like hell!"
Is this supposed to make me enlightened to universal truth or something?
All my memories got jumbled up in my head while thinking, until they finally sorted themselves out like text.
Probably better to quit this crazy shit.
Took another drag of the cigarette. Feels like my overheated brain is clearing up. The spaces that were stuffed full like blood sausage disappeared.
"Can't use it on the brain. Could seriously fuck myself up."
In that case, better to handle magic power.
In this world, the better you control magic power, the less you age. More precisely, you could call it immortality. Well, not aging doesn't mean you can't die though.
Unlike the crazy brain stuff, using it on magic power is broken as hell.
When I applied circuits to the magic power within my body, I could feel it increasing instantly.
Exercise in this state would be super effective.

A few days passed.
"...Cancel."
Found myself sprawled out on the floor.
Bad planning. I'm not weak, but my physical stamina is pathetically lacking.
Need to train a bit.
Well, my stamina might be weak but everything else isn't.
"Better get ready to go."
I've gotten pretty used to this world over the past few days.
Whether from the perspective of that corporate slave guy or Yoo Eunha, I was a frog in a well.
That guy. Or should I say, that other world? Besides the Great Cataclysm in its history, most things were the same as this one.
The culture, the lifestyle, all of it.
"Should probably cut my hair."
I roughly cut my hair. Just neatly trimmed the bangs, but a stunning beauty appeared in the mirror.
Redid all the piercings too. Surprisingly, they suited me and didn't feel uncomfortable at all.
"I heard a Divine Sword Awakening user is enrolling this year?"
"That's not all. They say a pure-blooded Elf is enrolling too!"
"And I heard the Divine Sword's sister is also enrolling?"
Divine Sword Hero Choi Siwoo, Spirit Elf Reina, Divine Sword's sister Yoo Eunha.
Choi Siwoo who earned the alias Divine Sword Hero just from his Divine Sword Awakening, Reina who's one of the heroines and uses Spirit Arrows as a pure-blooded Elf, and me - the Divine Sword's sister.
Thanks to rumors spreading like that already, I, Yoo Eunha, had cemented my position as a heroine even more.
"Since it's come to this, might as well go full irregular."
Beep
A message notification rang from Eunha's new Magic Gear.
[Firebat: You're dead if you're late today. Got it?]
Firebat?
