When I opened the window and carefully bowed my head in greeting, the dwarf shouted cheerfully.

“Haha! Sorry for blocking the way! This fellow's acting up for a moment...!”

The dwarf tapped the iron mining cart he was riding and began fixing something.

As I watched, I figured out how the mining cart moved.

The passenger had to pump a large, lever-like device mounted in the center of the cart up and down to make it roll.

“It may look like this, but it's pretty fast. If you pump properly, you can move in the blink of an eye. It can easily outrun monsters, too.”

“...I don't think anyone else could use that...?”

Seeing the mining cart move sluggishly only when the dwarf pressed down with all his strength, I asked incredulously through the cab window, and the dwarf snorted.

"Big journeys require big strength."
