We headed for a large food wholesale store that lay far from the railway—one we would have had to get off and walk quite a while to reach before.

The train raced along the road and eventually parked in the middle of the enormous supermarket parking lot.

Calling it parking was generous; it practically had the entire parking lot to itself.

“It should be fine. Probably.”

No one was going to ask us to move it even if we left it parked like this.

When we got out, the first thing that caught my eye was the dozens of mana stones scattered around the supermarket entrance.

“Looks like someone already cleared them out, maybe because it was near an apartment complex.”

They were mana stones someone had left behind after killing a group of monsters and failing to collect them all.

My companions and I carefully picked up the mana stones scattered across the ground as we stepped inside the food wholesale store.
