If Only the Upper Half Has Emerged, We Have to Investigate What's Happening to the Lower Half

While dealing with the tentacle monsters all over the city and collecting the souls of the orcs trapped inside them, they ended up making a complete circuit of the city.

Even after rampaging for over an hour, they hadn't found so much as a dungeon core, let alone a boss room.

"So all that's left is the Colosseum?"

"It's perfectly circular. Wasn't the original Colosseum missing parts, or did it have statues or something?"

"That's because it was weathered away over the years or broken by something. The Colosseum in Rome on Earth was originally a proper circular arena, too."

Seeing Joo So-jeong return after flying around to take a look at the Colosseum's exterior, Jeon Su-yeong glanced at the orc souls she'd collected so far.

They'd gathered several hundred, perhaps even several thousand, orc souls while making their way around the city. If this had been a city where other races lived, there would have been even more.

They'd handed out items that could collect souls to their companions, then split up and covered the city in all four directions. Aside from Joo So-jeong, they were all high-ranking Awakeners, so they got around the streets faster than expected.

If this city had been modeled after Rome, that would mean at least tens of millions of souls were still wandering the afterlife.

But for some reason, even in a city this large, only the orcs' souls remained. So they'd collected far fewer than expected...
