Lin Arclight first came to Last Round a few days ago.

She was dressed neatly as always. Her coat gave her a refined yet sophisticated air, her gloves were high-quality without being too flashy, and her silver hair inevitably drew attention wherever she went.

Her appearance clashed with Last Round's old, weathered sign. Lin, however, paid no attention to such gazes. She had long since grown accustomed to other people's attention. She looked toward the empty seat on the left side of the bar. She had thought Kael would be there.

But he wasn't there.

Mira said as she polished a glass behind the counter.

“Kael hasn't come up yet.”

“Not yet?”

“Yeah. Haven't seen him since yesterday.”

Lin tilted her head for a moment at those words.

It wasn't strange for Kael to be gone for a day or so. He seemed to move around without saying anything much of the time, and he probably had things to do late at night as well. He likely didn't have a fixed schedule like ordinary corporate employees...
